  1. Clint32: Have you got anything for an extra rear camber adjustment?
  2. I'm interested in the passenger side light as well. If you decide to separate them and kamikaze doesn't want it I will take it from you for $250. Tom
  3. dajorad: Yes, I've reverse engineered it, bought the CMX-100 from Techtom and went from there, lots of work.
  4. No, it's not really an Rs232c protocol. I have writen by now 2 applications that use the consult protocol: Data Scan - for monitoring and logging a real time data and Rom Reader - for downloading the ROM data. The Data Scan is especially good for diagnosing faults and those flat spots. You can see some of the logs that i have done here: http://home.iprimus.com.au/tkolo/datalog.htm Tom
  5. Thanks for the info Sydneykid. I thought it would be something like that. I was expecting a boost cut to be something violent like a rev cut or speed cut but maybe the ECU just starts with taking the timing out. The biggest drop (only 5 deg) is at 4800 rpm where AFM is at 4.8v. After that the air flow goes up to 5.0v and the timing goes up to 23 deg at 6600 rpm. So that tells me that there must be a different air flow limit for different RPM i.e. 5.0v for 6600rpm - OK, 4.8v for 4800rpm - too much. In theory if I lower my boost (air flow) I should be able to at least match the performance of the other car, right?
  6. I have compared data logs from my slightly modified R33 GTST 95 model Skyline to almost stock R33 GTST 95 model. The almost stock car is faster and only has a HKS pod filter, high flow cat and higher boost (about 12 PSI). I have full 3” exhaust (dump pipe with separate wastegate pipe), high flow cat, ARC front mount intercooler, HKS pod filter, higher boost (about 12 PSI). Both use stock ECUs without any piggy backs. My car made 200rwkw on the dyno but is still slower. Have a look at the timing graph, my timing drops to 5 deg where the timing on the stock car is still in the 19s. That area is not in the knock map so I believe its due to the higher air flow 4.8 V compare to the stock car 4.5 V. What do you all think? http://home.iprimus.com.au/tkolo/datalog.htm
  7. Hi Jay, yeah I'm still around but I can't make it. I'll be out of Canberre for the weekend. It would be good to catch up with every one. By the way Jay, I got the wideband oxygen sensor and soon will be doing some experiments with the R32 ECU, I'll let you know how I go. Tom
  8. Car has made 204rwKw at recent Elitemotorsport dyno day. http://home.iprimus.com.au/ramsaj/home.htm Tom
  9. Interesting question, hope someone can answer.
  10. Everything in excellent working order. I’m selling it to upgrade to R34 GTT. I’m in Canberra. Price: $23 000 For pics go to: http://home.iprimus.com.au/tkolo/skyline/skyline.htm e-mail: [email protected] ph. 0419696421
  11. There is a switch in TPS too.
  12. Anyone? I'll be in Sydney this weekend and can pick it up.
  13. I'm looking for a stock R33 GTST turbo actuator, doesn't have to work I'm just after the bracket. Tom
  14. S14Drift:Try this if you can't read Japanese, it will give you a rough English translation: http://babelfish.altavista.com/babelfish/u...ml%2F28_07.html The Rb20DET don't have VCT. That is the biggest problem in adapting Rb20DET ECU to RB25DET engine. Some people have done it by adding an additional board with a specially programmed PIC microcontroller and a transistor to control VCT. Would you be able get me one of those 300ZX ECUs for less than $100 AUD?
  15. Toshi: How much to remap R33 ECU?
  16. Lippo: Yes, it will probably go better with a 95 model ECU S14Drift: The Daughterboards are not easily available and expensive. Badbiki doesn't have one, they are more complicated. You can get a new Hitachi H8-534 CPU from www.grid.co.jp and program it with new maps but it's like $300 windowed (reprogrammable) CPU and that's not all you need.
  17. There is an R33 Ecu for sell on ebay: http://cgi.ebay.com.au/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vi...&category=31250 Try getting 95 model as they have better fuel maps. I got 204 rwKw with stock 95 model ECU and stock turbo.
  18. Hey weetbix, Are you doing CM1 at UC? I see a car like yours with the SDU sticker every time I come for the lecture. Tom
  19. It's actually about twice the price of Apexi SAFC. "Prices Base unit $840.00"
  20. Try: http://www.automotivebooks.com.au or Book Works in Sydney ph 1800242116 heaps of interesting books there.
  21. mickGTR, How did you go with fixing your electrical problem? I'm interested what it was. Tom
  22. I'm going to the Elite Sport Dyno Day. Is anyone else going? Tom P.S. I'm up for meet too.
  23. TomR33

    hey meggala :D

Is it an RB26DET R34 GTR engine?
  24. Yeah, I would be interested to see series II maps too but don't have them. I should be able to download maps from any Nissan ECU (except R34 GTR) and do the comparison, just need access to the car or ECU for about half an hour.
  25. Jay, I have tried loading the stock R33 ROM data onto an EPROM and use it on R32 ECU. It doesn't work. The K constant is much larger and TP scale is different. R33 ECU must have a different algorithm to calculate the injector pulse time. Tom
