i got my mate to do the 1st phone call while i was at work and he's friends with him and also bought a tt supra off him.. anyways i bought them both.. headlight looks brand new and puts my other 1 to shame so i havnt put it in yet cos that headlight exchange place isnt open again till the 5th.. thanx for you help anyways now i just need another copy of your front bar and im close to back on the road again.. and for these cops to say it was her fault so i can see some money

dean has 2nd hand head lights for $300 each and mirror's for $150 each rekon i could find cheaper? 300 for 2nd hand light sounds like a bit much ill still have to get them both cleaned up too

yeah i know of him.. ill try tomorrow.. also any1 know anything about those smaller mirrors that you see around on the odd line? might be a good time to get sum new type of mirror

i wish it was that easy.. for starters because the cops havnt made a decision to who’s fault it was i cant ask for my car to be fixed.. 2nd she wouldnt have made a claim with the tac because shes saying she doesnt remember what happened and is hoping that the cops dick me for something and get her off.. 3rd i dont have insurance and even if I did they wouldnt do much for me anyway cos i would have only had 3rd party if i did have any as a 22yo driver in a import gets stupidly priced insurance

any1 from around mentone (around southland area) wanna meet b4.. i dun wanna have to use the melways

i finally got hold of the cop tonight.. he tells me she was ok.. broken collar bone tho.. shes from mornington and remembers nothing of the accident but the scary thing now is.. on the night there was these 2 guys that said they saw the whole thing and i wasnt doing anything wrong.. now the cop says because i say i wasnt doing anything wrong.. she doesnt remember anything so it all comes down to what "THE" witness says.. i go wasnt there 2 witnesses there and hes like nar there was only 1.. so now iv lost the 2 guys that said i was in the right and theres some new witness

i tried calling twice on saturday and i went down to the station in person today and the cop that came to the accident wont return my calls so dont even know the ladies name.. I know as much now as I did 5mins after it happened on Friday night.

just went down to the panel shop to see how the new windscreen was going.. its like $180 for the glass and $250 for the mould that goes around it.. whys the plastic shit cost so much?

Leewah good to hear things worked out for you and i think that would have to be the first time iv ever heard anything good about the RTA. i thought of ringing the hospital but i dont know where they took her or even her name.. i know nothing atm

also any1 know of a place to buy new or close to new head lights for a good price? im guessing this is going to be the most expensive part of fixing as im going to need 2 so they look the same and not 1 faded and 1 new

iv tried a couple of times to find out how she is now.. saturday morning after not sleeping the best i rang in the morning and spoke to the cop in charge and he said he was busy and he'd call me back.. i left it a couple of hours and called back only to find out he had gone home and no1 else could help me. i just got back then from going to the police station and was told he's working atm but hes not at the station and they took my number and said they will call me back when he gets back in also went to the panel beater and took a couple of pix of the car

yeah that's what my panel beater said.. as long as she doesnt make up any stories i should be allright.. it looked like she was on the phone when she stepped out.. she was prob worried about getting her hair wet too.. anyways im off to the panel beaters now to get some pix and info.. hope she's allright

Friday night at around 10ish pm I turned left off chapel street onto Toorak Rd.. few blocks down (out the front of lotus) a lady that was walking across the road stepped out in front of my car at the last minute.. I broke to try not to hit her but it was raining and she only gave me about a meter to try stop b4 hitting her.. So as the topic says I ended up hitting her as my front bar and driver’s headlight took out her legs she came flying up my bonnet and into my windscreen smashing it instantly and sending small pieces of glass into our faces and blocking my vision making it even scarier.. as I came to a stop I saw her out my driver’s window falling from the top of the windscreen off to the drivers side and taking out my side mirror .. my 2 passengers and myself got out straight away and called the ambo’s (who got there really quick). With some help the lady was taken to the side of the road and seated while we waited for the ambo. She was taken to hospital so I have no idea still how she is.. cops arrived and statements were made.. there was a couple of witnesses to the accident and they said I wasnt doing anything wrong (which I wasn’t) So my car was towed to a storage place until the sat morning when it was towed to my panel beater and I still know nothing.. So this all happened Friday night and I still know nothing but that chick must be hurt in some way after all she did get hit at just under 50k’s an hour her shoulder busted my windscreen and she dropped from roof height.. Damage to the car didn’t look good either.. busted my front bar in half, cracked the drivers headlight, my bonnet didn’t open easy so im guessing that’s warped, smashed windscreen, busted driver’s mirror. Ill go down to the panel beaters tomorrow and get some pix and info on damage and post an update. Any1 ever been in or heard of the same sort of thing? I would like any info

hey 20th is ok but iv got skidpan during the day so i was just wondering what time you were thinking of meeting

going about 30-40k's an hour.. was in a dodge back street roundabout.. was really bumpy and it skipped my car side ways into the corner.. wasnt the best thing iv done but iv got new rims now.. iv still got 2 perfect rims in the shed out the back tho that are only like 12hours old.. its such a waste would be good to find another 2 to make a set

hey there call "pulse autostyling" on 9587 1844 they have a good mould and do a couple a week and they make/spray/fit for a good price and are in melb (south eastern area)
