Hi guys, is there any members living close to Daikoku futo that would like to go later in december/early jan? I went a few years ago with a member (13Beast) and it was a great night. I can of course pay for fuel/toll cheers
-
I have always used genuine oil and fuel filters from Nissan. they are not very expensive. Paper air filter (think it is ryco) and oil is a personal preference... I have heard of guys using all types, but I have used Shell Helix Ultra 5W-40 for many years and never had any problems. as suggested just use a quality synthetic

i paid $200 per shock for my bilsteins last year. Car feels great now. I still have the part numbers somewhere if you want them

Its been a while, but thought I would share the fix to this problem in case anyone else was suffering from the same issue. Basically it was the tyres. I had miss-matched tyres front and rear (fronts matched. rears matched) same profile (205/55/16) but different brands. I was trying to get by on 2nd hand tryres till I could get a new set of rims.... But I ended up putting 4 new tyres on, and bingo the problem went away. Better smoother exceleration also. Was suggested to me by SOB that it could be the tyres... cheers mate

first time i have been able to log on with my laptop since in japan.... was only able to logon with mobile phone... strange. mark, if you liked the museum at odaiba, check out the science and nature museum at ueno park... pretty sweet and ony 600 yen even has an early datsun 12 on display along with a couple of early datsun engines. also if you are looking for something to do, if you have not checked out sunshine city yet in Ikebekuro, shopping there is awesome, as well as a great view from Sunshine 60. did you have a look at History Garage? I always lve visiting there.... and this time i got to sit in a Subaru 360 K111 I think the guy was just letting kids hop in, but I got an offer, so why not.... wish i could go to Yokohama Sat night but timing is not good for me (as well as staying in Toshima) maybe next trip? I am still going Sat, so feel free to pm if you would like to meet somewhere. sugestions on where to meet?

I'd be keen to go to the one at Odaiba if you are going, Nagoya would depend on date, costs etc.....

thought i would give a quick update... I bought a Consult adapter and conected to my laptop.... And got a fault code of 33 (Heated oxygen sensor) so looks like that is the problem. Buying one today to find out if that solves the problem.
