Guys I just got my boost control but instructions are in jap suprise suprise , dose anyone have or know where i can get the same instructions in English ?

Yeah them be the ones.... I was told (not by Autowank I mean style) that the bulb itself that comes out with the bug type H/L have some kind of starter or something they are proper halogen as apposed to the wana be ones floating around. This is what iv been told dont know if its fact?

dont know where the law stands with turbo timers in Adelaide but here they are ilegal same goes for remote start alarms .

i was made to understand by not having the air con working properly and using it could cause the motor to work overtime thuss engine temp will go up ? This would be a result of only having the engine fan cooling the motor as aposed to having both fans working as a cooling system.When there is no gas in the system the sensor automatcially cuts out the fan meaning the engine has to count on the one fan to do the whole job.Not pretending to be an expert just sharing what i was told when i was encountering similar probs.

surely the GTR manual going around atm covers this ..... ?

There aren’t too many negatives about this car ,as of lately iv been finding myself saying to myself how a great of buy it was. Very comfortable and reliable sure it has its bugs now and then but what car doesn’t? It has a very smooth ride and almost flawless handling this only matching its speed and other great features. One of Nissans true achievements in my opinion, the GTR technology gets even better as time goes on its potential cant be outclassed.

yeah its not good idea to be driving with no gas in the air con over works the motor big time and your prob dose sound like lack of gas , off the topic question what bov did you end up getting with your car man ?

Nope all they really have to is tap the bonnet and check underneath it it will be play as day its not alloy/metal

Honestly that would of been the last thing i thought you would of said, different story if you had told me it was a defect unit or something doing a blitz. I drove my car around with no front bar and my cfb while having xenons and not once have I been pulled over. I guess it a question of wrong time wrong place.

that has to suck , your probably the first i know that got done for cfb just out of curiosity where you from ?

i have recently taken out mine and it dose read just about 1 bar on my gauge. before removing it would top around the 0.5 bar mark a real diffrence , i too got my info from a magazine but i dont recall it saying that mines chip was needed can anyone verify this?

what i meant was it was the first time i really put my put bonnet against the elements it hasnt rained since iv had it on the car but the other day i had to take it out and it rained , youll be happy to know it didnt melt

Yesterday was the first time the weather got the better of my bonnet but it came up on top like mentioned previously the bonnet are designed to overcome weather conditions .As for the bonnet being illegal yeah they have been illegal from dot. But most police will get out the book if they really want to come down on you . I drive mine most days and haven’t had much trouble at all that doesn’t go to say I never will, but I think it comes down too you doing stoopid things in certain places to attract the wrong attention police or otherwise. So with that in mind I would be careful in what you do and where you go if you want something more unique then conventional.
