I love it, tone and volume is perfect, performance picked up alot, and makes for some reason it exentuates the turbo sounds aswell. Dealt with tony there, total cost 1200. Very happy with the results. Take it easy

Yeh , fortunatley i never had to make a claim but we all know its just a matter of time with our type of cars. Well i got my skylines 1 yr ago, unmodified at all, at 19 years, gts-25t r33 and it cost me $4080 this year $3500, i want to whack on exhaust and pod and panel filters - talked to them about and they said that my preium would go up $100 approx. so not too bad, not great. But they are THE ONLY place i was able to find inusreance with, i dont mean i found another place and justcar was cheaper, i mean they are the ONLY ppl who do under 25 turbo. As far as i know ofcourse ...

con·ven·ient ( P ) Pronunciation Key (kn-vnynt) adj. Suited or favorable to one's comfort, purpose, or needs: a convenient time to receive guests; a convenient excuse for not going. I back my choice of words! But true lwells, they are not the rule makers, just the rule benefit of our money-ers. hahha So does any one know where or how we can obtain a list of legal and illegal mods? That would be a sweet ass piece of paper to look over
-
i called justcar yesterday regarding my planned exhaust system upgrade and the podfilter question. They told me that u can "put unlimited legal modifications" my next question, what is legal?" they told me they are bound by law NOT TO TELL US what is legal, and that we would have to independantly talk to the RTA (NSW) and check. They were very clear about the fact they CANNOT TELL THE CUSTOMER what is, and what isnot legal in regard to insurance polcies and coverage. Convienient that a insurance compy cannot tell us what we can have on our cars? and then void a policy on that crucial information.

because maybe they are legal in victoria for example but not in nsw, or vice a versa? I need to know about NSW stuff tho, POD FILTERS! anyone know about nsw?
-
Yeh i need to know that shut aswell. I am with justcar full comp, but stock r33 gts-25t. now i want to whack an exhaust system on it, and even pod filter or airbox filter. And i need to know whats legal illegal, or barley legal and if they will pay for it. Im from NSW - whast the story there? pod filters are no go? But how can so mnay ppl have them then and have insured cars? i need help quick because im going on sat to get stuff put in!! THanks guys

i was more under the impression that the mild steel was susceptible to rust through, while stainless is by nature, rust proof. Also (while minimal) the expansion and contraction of stainless (or lack of) is also a good point over mild steel. Thoughts? Or pretty much is everything ok - besides titanium which is hecktik! haha

well in respect to the exhaust and high flo cat its a package system, so i assume it would be a high flocat or is this not the case. This package is from justjap.com (kirawee Sydney) http://www.justjap.com/parts_nexhaust.htm And the one im getting hopefully is the 950$ stainless 3inch turbo back. Thits will be the first thing performance wise i do to my car - make sense to do so?

hello, like the title says im all newb, 3 questions. 1.) What is a 'dump pipe' in the scheme of forced induction systems? 2.) The use of extractors in forced induction systems? Worthwhile? Only with full exhaust system? whats the deal there. 3.) And i am in the process of purchasing a full exhaust system, but i 'assume' i need somehow alter the back bar to allow the tip to not be dragging on the floor. Can this be done at the same place where i am gettin the exhaust installed? does this need to be done at a fibreglass place? Please educate me! thank you everyone. FYI - i am a relative newbie to performance and modification, i have a r33 95 gts-25t which i had for a year, but am only recently pulling my finger out and doing something worthwhile. Thanks again!

Very good point DnB, I am 19 - green P Plater ... and ive actually enjoyed the 'challenge' of driving a performance car safley. I learnt and drove a diesel landcruiser 60 series 1985 for about 98% of my driving career - and then got my skyline .... the difference ... enormus as expected but i feel that i am a superior driver do to my experience of driving an extremely awquard car. Just my thoughts anyway - what does everyone else think? Or perhaps i will never be as good a driver who learnt to drive on a skyline or performance car?

Hello everyone, i know i am a noob and u shud no 2 - so be gentle wit me please Now i have had a 95 r33 gts-25t for about 6 months and have not done anything to it besides abit of accessorising and audio - nothing performance wise. Now u may have seen my last post about BOV and why i should and why i shouldnt - thats all part of the same overall question i have , what should be the first things that should be modified to add abit of performance ? Now my goal is to have a more then average skyline - but i wont front im no racer - im no drifter, i enjoy a bit of sideways just liek the next guy or gal but im not gona gear my car for that specific reason. What steps or actions should i be taking to acheive a more then average skyline? (as in cat back exhaust or wot have you first then work on intake) ALSO by the by servicing skylines - can it be done at any competent mechanic? or should be soley touched by a import mechanic or sports car mechanic? i know theres that motul oil thats gold and i doubt normal mechanics would use it. AND Im in sydney blacktown/castle hill way - who is a good automechanic i should be going to around this area? and more importantly who should i be staying away from? THanks alot for this guys and girls - by the way this site its fantasmic, im learning more and more with every thread i read here. Thanks guys , peace

What i need to know is everything one needs to know about and how to installa Blow off valve ... IE what type of BOV is better - what are the different types? How much does it cost to install and how much shud i pay for a BOV? REMBERING my r33 gts-25t is stock as a rock - so i dont need any high end gear. Also when installing a BOV do i need to have my onboard computer tweaked? (not aftermarket the stock one) Thanks Guys - All info is greatly appreciated Cheers
