The engine was rebuilt around 8000k's ago with foged JE pistons, let me know if you want any details of the rebuild. Needs a new clutch but comes with a Nismo GMAX twin plate thats only done 4000k. Also comes with everything needed to do this clutch install including a Nismo flywheel. Also needs new disks and pads but it comes with a full set of genuine Brembo pads. Has a K&N panel air filter but comes with a HKS pod air filter kit that is close to brand new. The car also has a Fujitsubo Giken cat back exhaust, This is a full titanium exhaust that would cost around $4000 to replace. It has Ohlins coilover suspension all round with adjustable damper. It has an omnitronic alarm that values at $1500 that has remote start and an in car camera that displays photos on the pager alarm handset. It has a 400r front lip and also has genuine R33 GT-R floormats. Stock enterior apart from a near top of the range Pioneer cd/mp3 player with bluetooth. Speaker setup is Rockford fosgate 6" all round with a 600watt pioneer amplifier. Its got a blitz turbo timer and 2x Blitz blowoff valves. Inspections welcomed, let me know if you want photo's. I will have to get them from my computer at home but I have heaps, incuding pics of the rebuild. Its a fairly stock GT-R with low K's and Maroon is a very rair colour. Hey I recently got a new water temp. sensor from Bursons and installed it tonight. I took my car for a quick spin around the block and the car was running rough as and by the time I got the car back in my driveway the temp sensor was on 'H'. Can anyone tell me how to fix this.

Hey I installed the new temp sensor. I took the car for a spin around the block with a fairly cold motor and by the time I got the car in the driveway again the temp guage was on the 'H'. I got out of the car, opened the bonnet and everything was sill cold. WTF?

Hey I have had my Maroon R33 GT-R for about 12 months now, but I have never seen another Maroon R33 GT-R. Is there anyone elso on here who has one? If so, pics? I want to see what everyone has done to them.

I cleaned both the sensors with some wd40. Appears to have worked. Drove it this morning, and was was cold in Melbourne this morning and it drove fine. I will still replace the sensor though as Bursons had to order it so I feel bad for them. Its only $12.

I just ordered a water temp sensor of Bursons, $12. I will see how it goes and give an update tomorrow night.

Sorry if this is a hijack, but does anyone know how much one of these temp sensors is to replace for an RB26?

Same with mine mate, apparently it might have somethimg to do with the water temperature sensor thats connected to the ecu, or something like that.

My GT-R will only go a tiny bit past the 10kg-m and thats giving it to it on a wet road up a hill. This could depend on tyres. Bosst is a little low, mine used to run approx 10psi, and its only got a cat back exhaust. If you want a good check that everything in the traction department is 'hooking up ok', find an empty flat road somewhere, dial up 6 grand and hold it steady at 6 grand, then drop the clutch. You should only get a tiny amount of wheelspin if any. This is what I was doing at a drag day and it was launching really really well.

Hey everyone, I need some help with my alarm. Recently my alarm remote has decided that it will only send information to the car and not receive anything back. I.E normally when I arm the alarm a message will come up on the remote's screen saying 'armed'. So my question is, has anyone with an alram that has a two-way remote that was doing this been able to fix it? If so, how?

Im 22, R33 GT-R, stock except for exhaust & alarm, I was with AAMI for three years whilst I had my old car and was on my P's. With my new car I have JCI. Clean record, Full comprehansive for a little over $1200. This is because I got rating one this year for being with AAMI. Insured for $28,500.

What was the outcome of this issue, because my car does this exact thing. Looks to be the water temperature sensor.
