  1. The question is more do you want a Stagea? The VE on paper is better for everything you are looking at; cheaper parts, more modern, better climate control, safer, cheaper to run and likely better resale. The only pro for the Stagea is that it is a Stagea. Don't get me wrong, I love mine - and I bought it with the idea of it being the Daily and eventually Family Wagon. But I also bought it because I wanted a Stagea, if I had only wanted a Family wagon I would go VE in a heart beat. The rear ducts were an option on the M35 I believe, however its been shown that it can be retrofitted with ease as the ducts just terminate under the center console/arm rest. The NA model PM35 is a better option for parts as it shares an engine with 350z's and V35's and its upkeep is likely less being naturally aspirated and RWD. I also imagine you could easily get away with 95 octane in the NA - I wouldn't use anything but 98 in the turbo myself (it can still likely run on 95 though).
  2. How is the car going Beregron? haven't seen an update in a bit and I've been following it keenly!
  3. Also there are holes In the guard behind the flares.
  4. Just look at any M35 Axis, those are the same flares as the ARX - just painted.
  5. I don't think it could be, there are resistance issues using normal LEDs in the M35 cluster, I'm interested to see how he did it as well.
  6. Yup, definitely boost leak - I had the same scenario recently. Check the intercooler piping and the small rubber hoses that lead to the solenoid/actuator, BOV and intake.
  7. Ahh I see what your talking about. The common way to get AUX sound into the M35 stock isn't to remove that cord, but to leave it in place a run an aux cord off the TV tuner in the rear LH boot trim. It sends a signal tho the screen and the screen in turn pushes the Audio out the head unit via that wire I believe. Doing it this way you can also display video (NTSC in potato resolutions only though). Or just upgrade the head unit, it's usually more cost effective.
  8. Are you talking about the unit in the upper glove compartment? That will not play dvd's, it's only made to read the navigation maps. You can run an aux cable for the stock screen/stereo via the unit in the rear LH boot trim but I don't know why you'd want to if you are upgrading the stock head unit.
  9. The V35 seats I have in mine are electric and heated (don't have the heat hooked up) V35 & 350z are the same design, V35 seats tend to be cloth or part cloth part leather. I don't think I have seen any 350z seats that weren't leather but a wrecker I spoke to assured me he had a part cloth part leather seat set from a 350z in stock. The dark V35 cloth matches the grey cloth m35 interior perfectly, and you can get the 350z leather seats in the black, beige and the orange found in M35s.
  10. That's for a VQ25DD NA, it's been on YAJ for years.
  11. Yeah, that orange is pretty awesome.
  12. Yep, lined up perfectly! No issues. I'm 6'1 and not a light guy by any means, the stock seats although ok comfort wise are too high (head touches the roof) and have no side support, if you event half heartedly take a corner you'd slide everywhere. V35 seats are about 50mm lower and a hell of a lot more supportive.
  13. 350z & V35 seats are the same design, you can get them in a bunch of different trims, material, leather, half n half and they are pretty much straight bolt in. Biggest issue with my V35 seats was getting the wiring to work because the seats weren't electric beforehand but even that was a 15 minute job.
  14. Just checking mate, is this front calipers (with pads) & discs only? No rears?
  15. Are your brake lights out too? The dash lights are the same fuse as the brake lights if my memory serves. The fuse is in the place Scott mentioned, behind the battery.
  16. $750 - Melbourne SE Looking to sell my Kakimoto Full Hypermega N1 Cat back exhaust. Imported from Japan last year, 3 inch pipe, very good condition: one small dent on top of muffler and the usual scuffs and scrapes you'd find on a second hand exhaust. Selling to fund other repairs.
  17. Do whats right, follow the truth... Badge it as a Renault.
  18. Hi All, Recently had two codes Pop up on my dash that come back intermittently after I clear them: 0110 & 1320 0110 is likely to be AFM I imagine, but has anyone had 1320 which is listed as 'ignition signal'?
  19. I have the exact same issue currently - My AFM was replaced less than 2500kms ago. Watching this with interest.
