  1. Count me in! souunds lik a good day out.
  2. I'm interested but already have plans for the 2nd of March. If it moves I'm in.
  3. ^ I thought of that orginally but the Takeros website states that both the V1 & V2 are availible in FRP/Carbon and lists prices for each. Nice! Just need to learn to read russian? I think making the covers look like an extension of the glass looks better than matching them to the paintwork.
  4. Hmm, I swear they are full length, but I see what you mean, In that picture I always assumed the blue sticker was on the body not the window, if you go by the lens it does look like you may be right, however why would they have two same length garnishes for sale? Regardless I did see the full lengths on the M35 I mentioned, and it was all Takeros (looked almost identical to the silver display car on their website without the decals). Good luck with the search!
  5. Had a look and they are still listed on the Takeros website and you can get them in FRP for Y12,600 ($135ish AUD) - so you could get them in via streeter or IM, if you do let me know the total to your door, I'd be interested to know!
  6. They are Takeros series 2 tailight covers, the carbon fiber ones: http://autostyle-usa.com/?pkey=item_info&i_code=TAK24121840002&maker_url=takeros The series 1 came halfway down, the series 2 is to the window (hard to tell with the black car in the pic) I can confirm as I have seen these on the silver full takeros kitted m35 that was being sold in VIC last year. However for the price they ask for them you could get them made locally - or plastidip/vinyl wrap as Scotty & Lakes mentioned, inexpensive and easily removeable. If you want to go genuine maybe ask someone like Jesse Streeter what he would charge to get you a pair if Takeros still make them?
  7. I've really got no opinion either way, I like Reading about both too - in the meantime if we just tagged the post (or put it In the title) m35 or c34 it would make it easier to spot which threads are which.
  8. Thanks guys, Scotty was my first thought - just unsure if they will go for it, the warranty covers $3000 but I won't hold my breath - Scotty I will give you a call today!
  9. Hi Guys, Did a search with no luck (maybe I am doing it wrong). Turbo gave out on the Stagea last night Only 7,000k's into owning it, the car is still under warranty and the turbo is covered for failure. I have rung the company and they have put me onto their nearest repairers, but they are all closed for a few weeks over the Xmas period (timing sucks!). I have already accepted the fact I am going to have a public transport christmas but I would like to get the car back sooner rather than later! The warranty company then suggested that I find my own repairer and supply them with a quote. I have heard that these cars are notoriously difficult to work with, so I am after some of your hard earned experience. Who would you recommend for this repair in the south eastern suburbs (I'm out in sunny Pakenham)? Thanks in advance guys!

    Dandenong

I find Dandenong to be fine, even before I bought the Nissan in Volvo clothing. It was only when the old 'Dandy Drags' were around that the cops we're harsh in Dandenong. I second the comment earlier about Knox + all the surrounding suburbs, they have it in for anything that seems remotely import, I was in a Civic type R with four other guys and were pulled over on Burwood hwy by no less then three marked patrol cars who then attempted to defect the car despite the owner having a roadworthy certificate dated from that day (he was selling it), was ridiculous. Most of the time I find cops to be fine if you arent an idiot - I have only been pulled over once in the m35 and that just because the officer that was driving was thinking about buying one - true story
  11. That front is very unique - it works really well!
  12. Surprise indeed! problem fixed, thanks for the advice guys, and the link Matt - saved me some time there!
  13. Behind the battery, no - didn't even know there was one there! I will have a look tomorrow, thanks!
  14. Cheers Scott, thinking the same route as its difficult having the car off the road long enough to take it out and send it off for the high flow + who doesn't love spare parts?
  15. Nice! If you dont mind me asking - how much did the turbo set you back?I installed my aux cable to the TV tuner on the weekend and replaced a few cracked vac hoses - not much, but its something!
  16. Hi all, Got a bit of an issue I could use some help with! I was rooting about in the dash this weekend to install a few things and end up cutting the ash tray light wires to run them elsewhere. I must have accidentally grounded that wire at some point and blown a fuse because now the centre console lights won't illuminate: nav buttons, climate control buttons, triple gauges and trans all dark. I checked most of the fuses in the kick panel and they look fine - anybody got any ideas?
  17. Spotted a silver PNM35 Axis in Pakenham Mainstreet on the weekend - passed each other and gave the thumbs up. Then found the same car parked near my usual spot this morning at the station.
  18. I'm Keen too - just need to know when and how much (Christmas is just over the horizon afterall!)
  19. Spotted two silver m35s on Sat, one with what looked like a freeway dolphin kit at Holmsglen tafe VIC about 9:30am and the other traveling in the opposite direction to me on High St about 6:00pm I gave the driver a thumbs up and got one back!
  20. Sound logic there! sounds like the best bet. - I guess the only reason I thought it may be an issue is due to a friend with a R32 who used to constantly complain about it. Thanks for the help guys!
  21. Hi All, Have lurked here for a while and finally am looking at making the plunge into Stagea ownership. The only thing I can't seem to find out is if HICAS is a dealbreaker or not? I understand what it is but not if I should pass up examples with it equipped or even just look at removing it down the track - So I was hoping you could give your opinions on it. Also any general tips when looking at M35's would be appreciated! Thanks,
