1 of the GTR that ran at Bathurst which Linsay Fox now owns was at the Melbourne Autosalon SAU stand last year.
I remeber watching that race live and Jimmy telling the crowd they were a bunch of wankers!!!!
Sandown on the 23th. Just need same CAMS licence.
Gotta get some good laps down at sandown as i only got 7 laps at calder and was just playing around with braking points and lines for those laps
I dont think he is a member of sau or even on the forums.
I met the guy 1 week ago when I was fitting my new front rotors.
He is a member of the Nissan Datsun Car Club.
He was telling me the last time he did the calder track was 2 years ago and it just started to rain on the lap he hit the wall and preety much came onto the straight and the ass let go and that was the end of it.
I am after some 17' rims as a second set to put some semi comp tyres on for track days, either new or second hand in good condition.
Rims I am after have to be 5x114.3 and 38 or less offset.
I am mainly after a 5 spoke rim design to help aid cool the brake rotors but may consider any others available.
The sard direct replacement injecotrs for the rb25 are pushing the line with being direct replacement even with the collars they require. I have set of 550cc ones and they were a bit to install and i ended up using 2 sets of orings
Yes, the law isent that cut and clean when it come to rear ending a car.
If hes diff blew and locked the rear wheels and caused him to stop without the brake lights coming on even if you were a safe distance behind him the brake lights are meant to give u the indication he is stopping so u have a case to argue it was his fault especially if you have a witness (the commowhore driver). The diff locking up can be easy checked also
Insurance companies are like lawyers and can twist words around to help themselves.
Get a stat dec signed by yourself and the other 2 drivers if possible stating what happened and who is admitting fault and get a cop sign it also. It may be the only way his insurance company dont tell you to get stuffed.
Doing 100km/h do dont expect the person infront of you to suddenly just slam on the brakes for no reason if there is no obstruction in front of them no matter how much space you keep between your 2 cars
