    Track I am refering to is Sandown and Phillip Island were i found i had to modify my driving a fair bit so that when i powered out of the corners I could keep the engine in the power curve of the rev range. Sometimes it was a comprimise between using 2nd gear and wheel spinning out of the corner and loosing time or staying in 3rd and having the car bog down for a while till the needle went near 4000rpm.

    Nice work cubes. I thought u would have budgeted to get the big snail on there so it could have all gone on their at once. I dont know how you are getting such good fuel economy there, I am lucky to get anything over 300km to a full tank driving like a granny to work everyday

    If you checked for loose cooler hoses then check all other vacuum hoses as if one is split or come off it will idle rough. Check basic things before you start worrying about cracket pistons

    That knob would be gordo But he aint really a knob as i have bought heapes of stuff off the net also incl ebay and never had any problems. Its not luck, you just need to be smart research their previous selling record before handing over your $$

    I got my 4x4 mud basher arriving in around 2 weeks also and with my importer he is delivering it on a flat back to my place doing all the quarantine stuff etc. Gareth is this the R32 with the N1 parts thats arriving?

    Or the spring on ur air regulator valve must be loose it still idling in cold start mode. Theres a thread in DIY section about this.

    Yes sandown is a nice track, 2 long straights and a few corners inbetween. I am also looking for someone that have a video decoder card (or whatever it is called) that can convert video footage I have on an old school VHS tape to mpg format so it can be converted to a VCD.

    I am sure there is a sau member that can go to his house and toy with him abit and that there is an advertisement on the internet is that he is selling cheap pfc and hand controllers and they are interested in purchasing 5 or so and see what he says. Thats should freak him out abit atleast. Then you can pounce
