so where can we get this rb30 pump? local wrecker?

hi all, just my experience. I recently put a sII engine into my r32 and my auto electrician who is abit of a cpu freak used the sI cpu as he reckons that they are more responsive to tuning and more adjustable. Can anyone shed any light on this??? Also, my sII has only slight mods, cat back exhaust, pod. What iridium plug should i use?? BKR5EIx-11 or BKR6EIx-11???

Got my Lightweight Forged Nismo Rims up for sale because I got new rims to fit bigger brakes. Specs are 114.3 x 4 15 x 7.5 so suit N/A skyline, silvia e.t.c Current tyres are 50-60% 215's which I personally think is quite wide for a 15" rim. with "re-shimming" is that just the same as getting your diff rebuilt?? if not, can anyone share what the difference is?

I did the conversion but i never had the 20 box behind the rb25 so i cant really say what the diff is however on the whole i strongly recommend conversion. Mod plates in qld are cheap as chips to get to. One question i have that i dont feel has been answered in previous discussions, of all the people that have done this conversion what have you done with your diff? eg. keep 20, replace with 25, strengthen rebuild of 20??? After about 3 months of solid driving and a night out at willowbank 1/4 mile mine is starting to slowly slip which my heavy duty clutch isnt a huge fan of and i want to get it sorted. Should I get strong rebuild of 20 (ive heard good things) or go the 25 swap?? keep in mind it was originally non turbo (4 stud)

Just did the rb25 conversion into non-turbo r32 as seems to be the rage lately. Everything is done now and car is running even better than expected however after about a month of driving im noticing that the car doesnt seem to want cruise at say 60 k's and will very slowly loose speed, then when i put my foot down it is slightly unresponsive untill all of a sudden there is a small clunk noise and off it goes accelerating again. I think this may be a diff problem but there is no whines, launches are still fine and normally after about 15/20 minutes of driving when the car completely warms up this problem seems to either minimise or go away all together. Any idea's as to what this could be?? A new diff is on the to do list but i dont particularly want to be looking at this till late this year. I'm not sure if this is important either but I am running the rb25 gearbox and using a exedy heavy duty cheers

when my r32 was non turbo i was 18 and rating 5 was paying about 350 third party. Now it has the series 2 rb25det in it im 19, and rating 4 and my insurance didnt rise at all, only my excess, although the insurance company did say that when i get the new policy in july (i changed halfway through my years payment) to expect that it may go up $10 or $20. when i hit 20 though and rating 3 planning to go full comp just for peace of mind. only reason im not going full comp now is that just car insurance dont have pay by the month up here in qld.
