Not to sure about that.Im a car salesman and i traded a car on xmas eve last year and it revs check reviled it was in a accident in 2010 and we did not trade in as we could not register it in NSW and the VIV was done in 2011 in nsw. It had nsw rego and at the time of the accident it was re registered in QLD in 2014. I know laws changed in 2011 for nsw and any VIV done after june 2011 anywhere in AUS you could not register the car in NSW. Ill upload the revs shortly anyway as iv already done one at work.. just got to get home and take a picture of it to upload Edit http://www.sydneyautoinspections.com.au/buying-a-write-off/4550399056 This link will state that you cant even re register a car after January 2011.. not june like i stated.. Im still abit unsure of the repairable write off part cause our wholesaler at work still sells them in QLD however he has to state its a repairable writeoff and obviously a large discount lol

Your safe to sell it to him. Im a car salesman and you can sell a car to someone without a license if you want to. The only problem he may have is if he has got a loan he will need comprehensive insurance and he wont be able to get it on his Ps. Thats his problem not yours. My wife bought a car from me when we were first together and it was a prohibited vehicle and she was able to transfer it into her name no problem

About 1000 like nizmo man said is right.. If you want to go with a stronger bottom end while your at it do it then. I picked up a billet crank and forged pistons and rods for 2600.. Needed balancing and i put new bearings and timing chain in aswell as a oil pump but but it your thinking of doing it later it will save yourself some coin. Or just give it a go yourself.. Whats the worst that can happen if your cars already off the road?

Thanks mate. I just use the old fashion spray painters trick i was taught when i was panel beating and spray painting.. After the respray i wetsanded with 2000 grit and used some Maguires swirl x remover with a wool pad. Next step i repeated this process but with maguires ultimate compound with a wool pad - make sure you buff the hazzyness out before polishing. Now i start the polishing. I use Autosmart Cherry Glaze. I apply it to 1 panel at a time nice and thick and with a new wool pad i buff the polish in on a low speed setting untill the hazzyness is gone and its like a mirror. After iv done that i reapply polish on the car by hand and leave it overnight before wiping it off with a cloth nappy. Thats how i get the result in the second pic. Upclose you can tell the difference after its done its like a mirror. The only think you have to keep doing is polishing after every wash. The 2nd photo was taken a month ago and i washed the car today for the first time since then and it was dirty but come up like new again and its in the shed with polish on it now ill be getting off before work at 7am in the morning. Im getting a few touch ups done on the car so ill make a video when im doing it to post on the diy section

If you dont pay your fine it goes to state debt recovery in 4-5 weeks and your point get applied anyway so your going to lose them weather you pay your fine or not.. You get all your points back when you get your license back aswell so at least theres a up side lol.. My licence needed renewing on december 25th 2015 and when i went to renew them they said i was loosing it from points from 2011.. i asked for the manager and he said his never seen it before but i have a choice of loss of licence for 3 months or 12 bond so i elected to loose them and i got all 16 points back when i only had 2 left.. Thats the best option for you.. or if u work try for a exemption licence for work purposes

A highway payrol officer i know told me they can book you for estimated speed but this is a eg of how it was explained. If someone was speeding doing 130kph in a 100 zone the officer had to sit on 120kph or so for 5 seconds and you had to be pulling away from him for the 5 seconds. He could book you for 120kph nothing more.. Estimated speed can only be layed on you since they brang out video cameras in the police cars so he should be sble to provide proof of the incident. If i was you id put it back on him and ask to prove it with video evidence. The worst that could happen is you have to wear the fine and if he cant prove it with video evidence then it eill make him look incompetent and tou should get away from it. But there is the ponit you admitted to breaking the law by saying you were being stupid
