  1. My money is in too, transfered on monday, can you confirm please :-)
  2. Both pretty even in my experience- Rex takes you on the line(sidesteps clutch at high revs, ouch!) but you do catch in 33 by end of second. When talking power to weight etc please factor in the drivetrain losses due to the AWD configuration. Other thought would be how many times in a row would the rex beat the 33 before clutch/gearbox shits itself?? Skyline can be punished and generally stand up to it so for a cheap/reliable fast choice i would pick the 33 myself. Sidenote- anyone here actually tried to do any repairs in the engine bay of a rex, man they put almost everything where you can't get at it!! LOL
  3. I'll have one skyline kit thankyou very much.....
  4. Haha @ stall it! Thats exactly what i did when i had mine installed after a standard one.... I have the same clutch too and love it, have been quite brutal to it with NO slip or probs at all for the last 6 mths. You still have a heavy pedal that only really shows itself when in traffic like Strich9 said and i found it can shudder a bit when it warms up in the same situation....but other than that its all good!!!
  5. Hey guys, just a quick note as i just did mine too, i would'nt recommend mild steel as such because under heat and with moisture it will rust fairly quickly and you don't want that shit in ur engine hehe. I did however find that some exhaust shops have "aluminised" mild steel mandrel bends(about $20 ea) or as i did you can just buy a mandrel tailpipe with heaps of bends in it and cut what you want! All up the pipe cost me $75, not bad i thought. Anyway good luck....
  6. "yeah 2500lb pressure plate is quiet heavy but you do get used to it and it grabs very sharp and well" I agree with C yar on this, I had a 2500lb, 9 puck clutch fitted by Xspeed in Myaree, cost $850 but so pleased with it,not that hard to get used too and at least you KNOW it won't give you trouble for some time
  7. Sorry to be a pain, could you send it too [email protected] as my other email is down by the looks of it....sorry bout that...
  8. Me email is sent also....thanks.....
