  3. Cam timing is essential I think... Im fairly certain RB20DET Auto should be 20 degrees, not 10 or 15... I found my throttle response to be quite shit at 15 degrees, bumped it upto 20 and it ran smooth as ) My Cefiro is Manual now but use to be Auto, therefore perhaps the base timing in the ECU is different to the std Manual based ECU? JK

  10. Oil pressure is negligable but water temp is a contributing factor. JK
  11. Mine does the same... its as if it retards the timing then all of a sudden goes back to normal and gives you a nice swift kick in the pants! Again, only happens when the motor is cold. Doesnt retarding the timing increase cylinder temps therefore warming the motor up quicker... might make sense? JK
  12. This has been covered numerous times on this forum. But basically grab a R32 GTST rear subframe and S14 Front Hubs, Lower Arm etc for ease of installation. Or alternatively for the front an aftermarket Hub that fits the A31 wheel bearing (S13 size). JK
  13. I use to run a 185/60/15 tyre on the front (fresh from Japan)... never scraped ever!!! - well not much ... as soon as i went to a 205/60/15 I couldnt even lower the car down off the jack haha. Pics for your amusement. JK
  14. Yep my mates 89 4 door R32 had a totally different wiring loom, different sensors and different coils as we discovered when trying to swap out of my 89 Auto Cefiro (now manual converted).. JK

It WAS $1000 for the pair earlier today, now its $1100. Good luck with your sale. Supply and demand... no one else wants it so I dont see how upping your price is going to help your sale. JK
  23. Yeah, I received the manifold today from the seller. Its even HPC coated! I will admit $400 was cheap. There is a guy here in perth who is keen on the manifold so we will team up and take the Manifold and Gate... Id say we arent prepared to stretch past $850ish. JK
  24. I doubt its the welds mate. Have a look at the fin design between the first lot of china copies and then the Gen 2 or 3 copies, and you will clearly see the difference. The fins only run about 5mm deep, whereas on other coolers some of the fins run the entire depth of the core. Because there are 15 to 20 layers of these fins in a 75mm-100mm deep core they are more prone to giving off a whistle than a core that has only 1 fin going the entire depth. JK
