  5. Well I finally got the car engineered and got it registered this morning. Just a smidge under 4 months since it landed. Compliance took a while and a lot of pissfarting around fixing the car. I initially failed the first rego inspection (not the 3 engineer signoffs ) because my induciton noise was too much... off with the HKS filter and on went a $20 cheapy from Xspeed down the road from the pits. The induction noise was now acceptable and they didnt charge me a revisit fee. The inspector was happy that I atleast made an effort to rectify it. So in the end i got slugged $130 for the initial inspection and $388 for stamp duty (based at $5000 market value) and 6 months Rego. Add that to the $65 I spent on a pod and adaptor. Oh and the cool thing... its registered as a "MAKE: NISSAN MODEL: " Yep, no listing of Cefiro. So dunno how im gunna go on insurance JK
  6. As seen here in the group buy that I ran - http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/sh...ead.php?t=49747 They are a dark/cusco blueish colour - not beige. Brand new... someone pulled out late... $200 + $15 shipping. JK
  7. Yepo, I did that 4 months ago... no fees!!!!! JK
  8. I used NYK and found their service to be excellent. I had to surrender my B/L in Japan and had no dramas with that. JK
  9. Howdy, got a PowerFC D-Jetro in an S14, however we are trying to install the boost controller kit. Well, we're using the solenoid from the AVCR which appears to be identical (with some custom wiring here and there). I cannot find the Install instructions for the normal Controller Kit and as such I dont know to where on the main engine harness the solenoid must plug in. I have thought that it could go onto the plug where the factory boost control solenoid plugs into on the S14. This is a 2 wire plug, and the Apexi Solenoid has 2 wires also. I assume this would be similar to the R33 factory boost controller setup. Anyone with experience know exactly where it should go and if im on the right track? JK
  10. I beleive the A31 RB20DET ECU is inferior and old school (R31 red top RB20DET sensors etc) and cannot be remapped. Can anyone else confirm this unfortunate finding? JK
  11. Good timing... my exhaust failed my car getting Engineered for the 2nd time today. Ive got the standard dump pipe on the Rb20 turbs, then a 3" front pipe, 2.5" cat (not punched out), which then goes via a 2.5" system to a middle muffler/resonator and finally to my end can. Ive even put a flange in with metal welded into the middle of it and it still wont pass. Im thinking... 1.25" standard Series 3 Bluebird mufflers are going in so the car is super silent and drives like a slug. JK
  12. Cefiro's look much better with no spoiler on the boot. JK
  13. If I ever get a licky on my fully engineered (well this is pending ;P) Cefi I will scream But, otherwise... just remove said licky and apply straight. They typically come right off without any dramas. JK
  14. 93 octane fuel? We use minimum 98 over here in Oz. JK

  23. Before you look like more of a c0ckhead than you already are, you should really look at the Evidence vs the chinese whispers. The evidence is here, the whispers are not. But as for the injector fable, the whispers certainly are and the evidence is not. So, who's currently got a car at SST whos paying by the hour for labour as Steve slaves away on forums? JK
  24. For us not in the know, what have you got? JK
