It was done almost instantly. My car was shipped using NYK. My dude in J went to the NYK office with the original and surrendered it on the spot. NYK then transmit relevant info to their Fremantle office whereby I am now able to pay for the shipping etc upon sighting a copy of the BL . This can be done within minutes basically. The thing is the original must be sighted at the shipping companys office. I paid $60 to have my aircon removed in J, along with a certificate of removal which the DPA said was ok. Perhaps youre getting stung $150 in Aus to have it removed. my bet the bastards will just dispose of the gas, cut out the receiver dryer and reef off the filler nozzles, but mine was all nice and neat and I can happily reuse all my bits if I wanted to. But im having to relocate my aircon r/dryer now because an oil cooler is where that use to be JK

Yeah those quarantine fees arent lookin right to me. I simply paid $92 for inspection and $85 to wash the car. I dont know about this Qurantine Permit and reinspection fee's etc... Id say someones making some cream somewhere.... hence why I didnt go thru a broker. Also things like shipping dock fees etc- I would be looking into that because when you pay for RORO shipping on a car most shipping companies also give you 4 days free storage aswell. Also, since when does customs inspect and examine the goods? They didnt in Perth.... I wonder why you have to pay a $100 for it. If this is the bill the Broker has given you I would suggest ringing the shipping company and asking exactly what all the charges are from them.... Guys n Gals, I cant get access to my car atm but I need to order replacement tie rods.... Im not home at the moment so I cant check my FAST software.... so does anyone know off the top of their head if the A31 uses S13 tie rod ends or R32 tie rod ends ... as far as Im aware theyre different. I was going to but it was sooo easy to do all of it myself. It took about 2 hours of my time and cleared it with no dramas, took the car thru quarantine with no dramas and drove the car home no dramas! Personally I found greater satisfaction in doing it myself because what I wanted done got done, without having to worry about anyone else in the middle. My car arrived on a Thursday night at Freo, I had the shipping paid for first thing Friday morning, Customs Papers were submitted for processing by 9:30am Friday morning, Customs cleared the car by midday Monday and I organised a quarantine inspection for Tuesday morning. Car got washed and passed quarantine and I was driving the car home by 1pm Tuesday arvo. Too easy! JK

Why do people refer to it as "wastegate" flutter???? Its idiotic. How can you hear the wastegate in the intake? Perhaps these internal gaters need to go for a strap in an external gated monster to hear what a wastegate does JK

You can use a generic $60 clutch slave cylinder. Nissans generally use all the same shit A generic clutch master is bugger all aswell. S13 coilovers do fit too as stated JK

I was just walking thru the carpark at work today and I noticed a Silver R33 4 Door with different tail lights. Upon closer inspection I noticed it was an IMPUL special release, and it also had a Carbon Fibre Bonnet. The car also had a SkylinesAustralia sticker on the front window. The whole kit just doesnt flow together at all. The skirts look ok, but they dont even flow nicely into the rear bar... its just all so awkward! JK
