  2. My sunroof rocks. Not only does it tilt the back up... it can also retract the whole thing Nice Wun Bruv. I'll attempt to get some good photos this weekend peoples. But you cant laugh at all my dings on the rear quarters. JK
  3. Woohoo I got my first "No its not a commodore.... its a........ um..... yeah its a nissan" last night at a servo JK
  4. To keep with the trend of distinguishing which members are where, Here is a list of the WA Cefiro Owners: - Jai "jaik" - Black, RB20DET - Steve "MrMayhem" - White, SR20DET - Mark "summoner" - Blue, RB26DETT - Was in WA but now in QLD - Bam "G0DF4Th3R" - Blue, RB20DET - Stewart "StilledCefiro" - Wine Red, RB25DET - James "Jimmah" - Black, RB20DET - Rowan "Mr Eps" - White, RB20DE - Adam - Pearl White, RB25DET - Nic - Yellow, RB25DET Obviously, if you're not on the list let us know in the thread. Currently I am contemplating starting a Cefiro Owners Club, Similar to SilviaWA, so that we can have a nice big fleet of taxis parading around the city all nice and together like Who else in WA would be keen for a meet up and a cruise to a pub? JK
  5. I got up at 6am to put my Teins in... and .... this thing was born to go sideways... the mech diff along with my "eye aligned" front camber make this thing go wild Im loving it... not to mention its almost as low as it can go... and is very pimpin with its uber dark tint and sunroof open Also found that my exhaust is 3" from the Dump pipe back with no cat. Also found that my tie rod ends and steering boots are ****ed... so now the process of getting it ready for licensing begins. JK
  6. Well after arriving at the docks to be greated by a flat tyre and a dead battery, all is well and the car runs well on the street. I had to pay $85 for a Quarantine Inspection and $85 to wash/clean the car. Oooo and Ive discovered that the cars got a nice mech diff in it, something which I wasnt aware of. The car has a few more dents and dings in it than I thought it had by looking at the photos, but what can I expect for under $3k? JK
  7. I paid for my Cefiro on the 2nd of July, and the car was on the boat on the 30th of July, landed in Freo on Aug 12, and Im clearing it in customs myself. I had the car degassed in Japan and had the certificate faxed over, which i sent to the EPA in Sydney, who intern cleared this OK and notified customs in Freo. My Customs Entry form was filled out by myself, and I went in bright and early and the guy helped me fill it out correctly, using correct codes etc. Apparantly they dont usually do this, but I found a nice block on a good day, and hopefully i wont have any dramas from this. I have to call AQIS once the car is clear, which should be Monday. Apparantly AQIS are pretty quick at the moment, within 24 hour turn around time from booking an inspector to when he/she actually comes out to see the car. JK
  8. I have no idea what that is, but if its positive i'll take it Cefelo is just too ghey considering cefiro is actually written on the car Im just gunna say whatever I feel like to the Trevs, they probably wont understand either way. JK
  9. Well ive got one now and thats all i care about JK
  10. I hit a bit of a snag this afternoon. Customs called me whilst processing my Entry and advised me they need auth from the EPA about my aircon. I had my system removed in Japan and got a certificate to say it has been removed so a quick fax to the eastern states and they are liasing with customs in Fremantle to sort it out. I shall be sure to note that down in my Import How To JK
  11. Well I went and paid for my freight this morning and saw the Car Carrier at the docks... that thing is bloody massive! Should have customs clearance by Monday morning as I submitted my Entry Form this morning, and quarantine within 24 hours from then! Woohoo! JK
  12. The powersteering pump appears to be R32 item, because it does pump to the KYB HICAS distributor on the drivers side of the engine bay. I have 2 S13s at home and my Cefiro will be home in a couple of days so I will check then. However my supplier told me my steering pump has been replaced before. If it goes again all the other HICAS crap is being pulled out and a S13 one will go in. If I remember rightly R32 and S13 steering racks are very similar. You could even put in a S15 one if you can find one. JK
  13. Ive come across a few variations in how "Cefiro" is pronounced. Which one do you think it is? 1) Cef-fire-ro 2) Cef-fear-ro 3) Cef-ur-ro 4) Suh-fear-oh Whats the verdict? JK
  14. I'll offer $250 on the Dump/Front pipe if you cant get rid of it. Will pick up 28th Aug whilst Im down your way May offer more depending on pics. JK
  15. I dont think WA Dealer plates would go down well in NSW... JK
  16. Well im paying for my freight and going to Customs to clear it tomorrow. Customs takes around 24 hours for clearance, so first thing Monday morning I should be able to book a quarantine inspector to come have a look at it later in the day or on Tuesday. I already had some decent cleaning done to the car in Japan so I will be surprised if It needs cleaning here, but if it does I dont forsee that taking longer than a day to organise. I should have the car by Wednesday at the latest. Compliance will take some time, but I have dealer plates so Im not in any big rush because I can still drive the car around, errr sensibly around JK
  17. Well after only securing the purchase 5 weeks ago with my supplier in J my car is due to dock in Fremantle this afternoon. Im very excited now Ive got a whole heap of goodies ive bought for it arriving later this week and early next week aswell as a whole heap of bits to give it a nice service Its only taken 12 days on the boat to get from Japan to Perth, which was very speedy indeed. Im hoping parts and wheels etc havent been swiped from the interior on its journey. My supplier thus far has been very good at communicating with me and keeping me upto date on all relevant details. He is now also able to source me parts at a decent price. I have already paid for a whole replacement front end thats being shipped over soon (drift spares ;P) Im going thru the whole import process myself, no brokers or anything, and I am going to document the costs etc thoroughly so someone else can do the same thing and save themselves a few hundred dollars in the process. Its Takushi Time! JK
  18. Id be keen on the Passenger seat if someone else in WA wants just the driver seat. Save on shipping JK
  19. I'll off your $550pp *if* you are happy on taking a deposit now and a final payment in the last week of August. Ta JK
  20. Ok so who has the contacts to get the ball rolling on this? Keener than Mustard. JK
  21. Thats the one I want. Any ideas how much that would cost to ship to Oz? Its about $250 for the front bar by itself... Id hope maybe someone would like to bring in a few so we can save on shipping a bit? JK
