  1. i probably would have preferred a grandads car, but mine appears to have had suspension before and a drivers seat. no sign of any guaging however, so i dont know to what extent my car has been thrased. its had a manual conversion so i presume the clutch should be half decent, and i can only dream that its got a 25 box in it (harsh reality of it being a 20 box, hopefully a turbo one -anyone know how to tell the difference?) and I suspect a standard LSD is in place too. Ah well Im throwing a couple of grand at it to handle better (ie to aid in recovery from driver error) so she'll be right mate. JK
  2. i was also of the same thinking, replace more often than trying to get longer duration out of a more expensive belt. i was looking at a more expensive belt as a precaution as i dont want to have to rebuild this motor any time soon, so i have no issue in spending more on a name brand belt. but i guess really, how much can one belt be better than the rest? i guess i would prefer to use 2 belts in a 40,000km period than just 1 belt. JK
  3. Im very much considering buying a hand full of bits from whiteline for mine too. JK
  4. I havent got my car yet. But its a CA31 (bah bloody hicas) but it is a black/gray interior. I have attached my vehicle information from the Nissan FAST software and it doesnt show me the interior trim code ;( JK
  5. We had a couple at the last drift comp in WA, and the number of competing Cefiros in the next comp will be double that of the last. Its progressing I bought a lot of spare parts with my car too. A few sets of front ends just incase JK
  6. Aussie drifters not taken to them yet? Perhaps visiting www.jimmah-likes-drift.com will change your mind on that JK
  7. Doe the standard BOVs come with the appropriate piping to plumb back into the intake? Thanks, Jai
  8. Interior/Vinyl spray will soon fix that brown. Those wheels are pretty nice... guards look to be rolled at the front too? Im thinking I shall be removing my grille and replacing it with an ARC oil cooler if I can find/afford one ;P JK
  9. Ick do I spy a brown interior? Wheels and kit look quite nice though Im still undecided on what (if any) grille i like in them. JK
  10. This is my Cefiro. June 89 build, ~90,000kms, RB20DET, 5sp, cat back exhaust, Black, Sunroof, Nardi Wheel, Bride Brix Passenger Seat, ghey gearknob, SSR Mesh Rear wheels, unknown Dished fronts, Late Model Tail light & centre panel. Slight rear panel damage. I have Z32 front brakes, Tein HR Coilovers, R33 GTR cooler, R32 GTR Cams & R32 GTR injectors to go in once it arrives in mid August. JK
  11. Do the BOVs come with all the recirc piping that goes under the front of the car? JK
  12. Oh no wait, CA31 means ive got crappy HICAS Boohoo. Apparantly the rear brakes on the Cefi are the same as R33 N/A rears, not S13. JK
  13. I'll offer you $75 on the lock bar as there are plenty for sale for $90 on this forum by skylinegeoff. JK
  14. Will throw in an offer of $200 on the cams if you get stuck. JK
  15. Page 1. Im the only person to mention a $$$ figure to you Mind you I could take them still if youre willing to bend over Or take Z brakes + Cash JK
  16. Sorry I will have to retract my other offers as I just picked up a set last night. Thanks, Jai
  17. A friend o mine who designed the BadBiki SR20 daughterboards has been running flat shifting in standard Nissan ECUs for nearly a year now. As stated above, its as simple as a switch on the clutch with other switches in between (in case you dont want it on). The switch then changes maps on the fly in the ECU. It sounds awesome and definately allows you to keep up a decent amount of power between gearchanges. JK
  18. Dude, I shall take the injectors, 33GTR FMIC and cams. I presume the injectors are all OK though? I shall SMS to arrange pickup. Jai
  19. I was contemplating doing GTR Cams, Gears, GTR injectors all at once on my Cefiro because a friend of mine does alot with Nissan ECU tuning (Makes bulk SR daughterboards etc *another top aussie export product!*) and I figured it would be cheaper for dyno time to do it all at once (Can get the tune done for free). I was also going to start off with a base Mines map aswell. So perhaps no now? I would have presumed it would be rather common for people to do fuel stuff, cams & boost all at once to get good performance? Im hoping not to see any issues from screwing up the boost and putting in cams, but just getting the electronics for the injectors running shouldnt be too much of a drama either. Crawl before running? JK
  20. Oops just another note so I can subscribe to the thread JK
  21. Hopefully there is some definitive answers soon. My cefiro lands in 5 weeks and I want to put GTR cams in whilst I change the timing belt... so if I have to get specific BNR series Cams Im hoping this thread will reveal which ones it is. I will hopefully be adding in GTR injectors aswell so I will get a decent tune at the same time as my mate does alot of ECU stuff (makes a heap of Nissan Daughterboards for ECUs and chips S13, Z32, R3x etc etc). JK
  22. I think I could only stretch to $500 on these dude... GTR front and rear calipers are going for around the same price (add disc price = $900 or so). Best I can do. JK
  23. Actually Turbo Cefiros are CA31 JK
