I know there has been a few people asking this but I havnt really found a straightforward answer I have a 98 r34 gt25 and I want to upgrade it's brakes on a budget (as I am only a first year aprentice) What model skyline brakes will be a direct bolt on or if there not what brakes will fit with an adapter front and rear Also should note I'm running the factory nissan alloys so would have to fit inside there

Found out today what it was Got it up on the hoist at work and ran it up to speed Sound was comming from where the gearbox meats the tail shaft I'm guessing there's a bush or baring in there that has gone No noise comming from the box or diff

Tested it this morning in 4th and it was still making the noise so I will top up the oil and test it out then if not I'll go further What oil do they take does anyone know?

ill see if it does it in other gears tomorrow on my way to work it doesn't sound to much like wheel bearings because when i load them by weaving left to right it isn't any worse what oil does it take do you know? epx 80w-90 or multitrax?

probably, how could i cheak that? would it be a lack of diff oil or something messed up internally

hey guys, wondering if anyone has come across this noise before my na r34 make a whining noise at almost exactly 80km/h in 5th gear at about 1/4 throttle, it sould like i could be comming from the gearbox, cheaked oil levels and all seams fine if anyone has heard this would love to find out what it is and if there is a fix cheers

yeah i am planning on getting a half cut or and hole engine to drop in to it, i would sell and get a turbo but because of an agreement with my dad i cant witch is kinda anoying but i wouldnt have the car without it i have had a look at the tread and it mostly talks about what to do in the engine bay, im more thinking the handling side, and further down the drive line, so would just brakes and suspention be enough or would i need to get a new final drive ratio or new drive shafts or things like that

Hey guys, im only on my l's ( get my p's in a month) but i am looking to prepare my r34 25gt for a turbo for the next few years im on m ps, i know the basic stuff like suspention, fuel supply, brakes but im unsure about the more trivial things like diff and gear box or other things that will need to be replaced if anyone has any ideas or recomendations, it would help alot cheers

12500 with 12 months rego and warranty only on my ls so i figured id spend some good money on a car that will last rather then go down the cheap path witch didnt work out well for me last time haha

i had a feeling that they where a bit different but i didnt know they where of the gtr, thats pretty mad i think there globes though and it says 89300 haha cheers guys

Hey guys, bought an r34 after admiring them for years been on this forum a few times but now that i have a skyline though id get a bit more involved This is my 1998 r34 GT imported from japan this month It already has en exhaust but i cant wait to start modding with all the awesome ideas and info on this forum
