  1. I just got some Ferodo DS2500's. They haven't made the squealing sound yet.... shouldn't I be expecting it? Its almost like I want my brakes to squeal so I know I have ferodo's. :laughing-smiley-014: I tried to bed them in a bit (doing 60-20 stopped 20 times with med braking). Has this prevented the squealing? Joel edit: Pads now squeal.
  2. Why do you want one? Actually, I don't want to even know. Why not just buy a normal one and drill a hole in the base of it?
  3. Next question is What time do you think I could crack wakey in a 1.6L 323? 1:21?
  4. Thanks for all the info everyone. I think I am going to get 323 hatch 2000 model. Can't go wrong with that (money wise). Don't think a euro car I can afford by the sounds of things
  5. Pug sounds like a pit for money too I'm thinking a 323 hatch now. Cheap, reliable, fuel efficient. Basically I'm after something that has an airbag, does NOT use much fuel (7L/100k avg), and is cheap to run, is relatively new, and is no more than $13k 323 is looking good
  6. Credits to goon.
  7. ah bugger, I just tuned into it then, shame there theres no RB26 powah now
  8. Hey all, There some live 24HR action at the Neurburgring Heres the link to see it live http://adac.24h-rennen.de/live/streaming.html Enjoy! Joel
  9. DAMN just finished watching. DO NOT READ BELOW IF YOU DONT WANT TO KNOW WHO WON Warned you Very good race. Rossi just off from stoner by 0.068 of a second ARGH!!! I really hope Rossi wins this year. Still good racing by both Joel
  10. Hey all, I've been driving a S14 200sx for nearly three years. The last 12 months the services have become a bit dearer and the car has broken down randomly. There are heaps of little things to fix, insurance is a bitch, petrol is expensive and I can't get out to a track to have some fun Do you think I'm better off getting this car? Peugot 306 Xsi Im hoping to sell the 200sx for around $13,000. - its done 131,000 km. With this Peugeot, do you think that it would be possible to put on a light duty tow-bar (to tow box trailers with a go-kart)? Im after something thats a bit more fuel efficient, has abs + airbags, easier to insure and cheaper to run. Anyones feedback is much appreciated. Cheers
  11. I know! Had an idiot in a ute going up and down the street to test how much he would slide. Dude looked like a complete retard.
  12. That's weird. I noticed that the compressor blades are completely different too. I thought they would just be bigger on the RB25's. Perhaps the turbo on your RB20 has had a rebuild and the exhaust side of the turbo housing has been replaced? I'm not turbo pro but it is the only thing that seems logical about it. Have you been able to get your hands on another turbo from a RB20. Keep us posted
  13. Check all the vacuum hoses. I had a mate that had his vacuum hose unplugged and it would stall at idle and lower revs. Try resetting the comp, check your spark plugs, could be a lot of things. I don't think its your fuel as the car wouldn't start if it was your fuel pump that had died. At idle your engine would be in a vacuum state. Revving down your engine would be a vacuum state. check the above, its bound to be one of those things. Joel
  14. Drift Prince FTL
  15. I have to say Senna is the legend of all time. It's really hard to compare though as when the car changes, it is not easy to compare times. Eg. If you look at schumi's records, they are from the later years where the cars are faster on the corners, so it is easier to set a lower time. Senna had balls, schumi licks them instead?
  16. Its not a silvia, its a 200sx . Im getting over driving it. Modena, how am I an idiot? Theres a thing called "growth" over time. ctjet. You are a malaka. Yidz, You would be surprised, I am still able to have some head room even when I have a motorcycle helmet on.
  17. His mummy and daddy should take that car off him and replace it with a "Ford Ka". 18 with a GTR is a death sentence IMO
  18. Auto? Hmmmm and automatic sports car........ NO! I like the manual factor
  19. I don't know whether its worth me getting $150 shoes for it though. The shoes I wear at the moment are pretty thin soled. Anyone had experience with proper racing shoes? Is there much of a difference?
  20. So can it still be done properly with a stock steering wheel and lanky legs?
  21. Hey all, I have been trying to heel-toe in my S14 200sx. I am 6 foot, 3 inches. I'm finding it great difficulty to blip the throttle as I feel that my knee is getting in the way of the (stock) steering wheel. I was just wondering whether I am too tall to do this properly and if there are any suggestions/tricks to doing it well. Much appreciated. Joel
  22. Make: AGV Model: Ti-Tech Rossi Winter Test Purchase price: $850 Personal rating: 9.8/10 Only just got it so haven't had a good chance to properly test it. Its extremely light. Has ventilation system which you can adjust for both sides of the helmet. Looks cool too
  23. Go with the private. Better bang for your buck. Be careful of shonky sellers though. Make sure you get a compression / leakdown test as the rb20 is a bit old now. Good luck
  24. If the stig was driving the Celica and Stevie Wonder was driving the skyline. I'd put my money on the celica then, and ONLY then.
