I would personally remove the stereo, rims, gauges etc basically anything that wont be noticed or are not on the insurance policy. If you change wheels make sure the new ones have legal rubber otherwise your brother might find himself without a payout.

I hate to admit it however I would take a 1jz over an RB25 and the 2jz over the RB26. They are simply far superior engines, you can't fight it as it's the truth.

That is right, you use an R32 GTR speedo sender unit, and just the factory R32/A31/C33 speedo cable.

As a rule of thumb if you're using a JECS or Denso injector and have to change the plug then the unit is of a different impedance. The best way to check is to use a multimeter and test the resistance.
