That is exactely what I am saying. All R33s, bar GTRs, use a push style clutch. The following listings are direct from Exedy catelogue, and I believe that this is where the confusion: R33, 2.5 Ltr, RB25DET SKYLINE- GTS (93-on) R34, 2.5 Ltr, RB25DET (Pull type) SKYLINE- GTS (95-on) Where as we all know the R34 didn't start till May 1998

It's a bold statement, but I would make it if I wasn't sure I was correct. Following are the clutch engagement setups for both early and late model R33 GTS25-t and the R34 GT-t. Please take note of the position that the bearing carrier is seen. You will notice that in a pull setup (R34) that the bearing carrier is on the rear of the clutch fork while in a push setup its on then engine side. Also note that there is no difference between the R33 setups. The offer still stands if anyone wants to try and prove me wrong.

Hey Guys I would really like to kill this rumour once and for all, the pull style clutch was not introduced into the none GTR range until the R34. All previous GTS-ts, including the R33 GTS25-t, use the same push setup. Also all R32 GTR manufactures until March 1993 also used an interchangeable unit. If anyone wishes to put this to the test this, with a clutch purchased from us, and I am found to be wrong I will offer a 110% refund. This offer will stand until I have egg on my face If you wish to take the challenge then head over here to look at the clutches available. Unless stated SAU members can take 10% off the price. I can be contact via either PM, email or phone 0400797687. Regards, Andrew Sullivan Kudos Motorsports

Wtb: Several R32 & R33 Gts(25)-t Pieces

bump still looking. -
Honestly it's a very simple procedure it should only about 10 mins to remove and the same to install. Don't worry about the bearing seal it's a fairly big metal cap. You only need to use the hammer for the initial process of splitting the cap from hub; from there you can just twist the screw driver to fully remove it. I promise you you'll know what I mean when you are at this stage.

Hey Mate, You’re almost spot on. After removing the calliper you will also need to remove the rotor, which will just pull off. To remove the hub you need to pop the bearing seal off, just use a flat screw driver and a hammer. Then remove the split pin using a pair of needle nose pliers. Followed by removing the hub retaining nut which requires a 30mm socket and a largish extension bar. However don't over tighten when putting back together as you can crush the bearing. When installing the wheel stud remember to line up the stud spline with that of the hub otherwise everything can go pear shaped.

I do and I don't agree with this. Some items really don't need a photo e.g. I have a stock set of R33 wheels with no rubber, good condition. Come on we all know what they look like however in a situation such as "I have 7 RB28s with T88 34d setups for sale only $1500ea" a photo may really add a little validity to the ad. However we must also acknowledge that some please genuinely don't have access to a digital camera or scanner. I do really think that we need a user rating/feed system again.

Laurel Wiring Diagram Help!

I have run a stock R32 ECU and a Power FC in a Cefiro with no problems at all. Therefore I believe it a safe assumption that the pin outs would be no different. Maybe the unit is just faulty. -

I have a non turbo auto RB20E, 10/1989 needs some body work and rust repairs. Asking $3500. Comes with R32 GTR clutch, brake pedal boxes, hand brake conversion items. Also comes with a set of late model taillights. The car is located on the Gold Coast. It drives very well however does require a wheel alignment. Great Project. Anyone interested give me a bell on 0401417772 and we can arrange a viewing.
