Hey I'm looking for a set of Do Luck double 6s in Hyper Black or something similar for my R32 - can you supply 18x?? - wide enough for 265/275s wheel only - no tyre required.

Yep but it's only money - right I've since found the Do Luck web site and the wheels - they run about 700USD per corner I'm assuming these are 18x8.5 – any idea ? Also who would distribute them in Aus – or is yahoo.jp a better bet ?? -
Guys can anyone tell me what wheels are on this JPG of the Do Luck R32 I'm considering getting this kit for my R32 GTR - and think the wheels are a good match

agree – it could be your EBC I have the Apexi EBC attached to my PFC and it 'rattles' like a bitch until I get a reasonable amount of boost up. It's been suggested that I could enclose it in something to muffle the noise – suggestions ? Mine seemed to come from the tappets too - but my EBC is mounted high on the passenger side of the engine bay HtH

Agreed !! I think it's a case of diminishing returns - I went from 210awkw up to 290awkw in my GTR - and it sure is quicker - no doubt but it does not feel 80kw faster (that's a bigger difference than a corolla and a std wrx) you get used to it quickly - and then you want more and yes - it's a daily driven street car - and I typically have a queue at the passenger door no shortage of volunteer drivers either - as long as we take MY car !!

Hmm any chance you could get them to make up some adaptor kits to allow me to fit up a pair of RB25 AFMs on my R32 GTR I have HKS pods at the mo - which I know would be big enough - but I need a pipe kit to allow me to fit the 80mm AFMs I can take measurements and send pics if required I'm in Brisbane - if that helps -
Ok Guys - I have a BIG problem with my R I currently have a set of ROH Drift Rs 17x8x114 with 235/45 ZR17 tyres and they just don't fill the gards like they should. She looks like she's on roller skates. I'm not sure what the offset is - but they seem to sit way too far under the gards (front and rear). To be clear, they seem to sit a long way back from the edge of the wheel arch. Even when I lower the ride hight – they seem to sit too far back and look very odd. I've considered fitting wider tyres - and I have some quotes to fit up 255s (yes – they tell me they will fit them onto an 8 inch rim) - but I'm not sure that will help too much talk to me - do I need to change the wheels or what ? I know - I know 17x8 aint big enough for a GTR - and only 275s will look any good, and I aint gonna get that on a 8 inch rim - but I'd like to stick with 17s as I like to ride comfort of the taller side wall, and I do not what to make the same mistake again.

Hey J I have almost the same setup - but I have used the std RB26 bottom end. I do have dump pipes – HKS style, with the short twin pipes from the turbo down to the engine pipe (+25awkw just from them I think) I do have a 3.5” exhaust front to back I also have the PFC and the Apexi EBC plus the R34 N1s, forged bottom end with std rods (linished and shot peened for good measure) with some minor head work too (competition valve seats are the main upgrade) BUT I have not got 600cc injectors, I still have the std 440cc, and I still run with the std AFMs Now for the good news - I currently get just over 300rwkw and about 292awkw running 18psi (easy) I plan to change the AFMs and injectors within 6 months and expect to get to 350awkw comfortably. My next upgrade ?may? Also include a bigger FMIC – and I hope to get the same power levels at lower boost (dreaming I know) HtH

so you want to run R34 spiltfire coil packs in an R32 without the ingnitor if this can be done - I'm keen too can someone (SK) configm this is OK to do before I get the R34 coil packs

OK - I have an R32 GTR pulling 297awkw with sthe td injectors I have a PFC with R34 N1s, pods, exhaust (yadda yadda) but still use the std AFMs. With my current set up that is the limit - I get 100% duty cycle from time to time under full load - so I know they can't take much more HtH

All I have an R32 GTR - with the basic mods - pulling ~300awkw @ 18psi running R34 n1s I'm having some problems with ignition break down (old coil packs) - so I plan to upgrade to Splitfire coils ASAP I just wanted to know if anyone has used the new HKS Twin Power (CDI+Transistor) system available from nengun http://www.nengun.com/catalogue/product/784 does this look like a work while upgrade

rebuild was done about 3000klms ago (6 months for me) I've booked it in @ Mazfix for the 3rd Aug - that's the quickest they could get me in !!

Guys OK - I've asked this question before - but I'm still not sure if I have a MAJOR problem or not. I have just done a full engine rebuild on my R32 GTR - and fit up a new PFC in the process, and I think I'm getting some knocking – but I'm not sure. Firstly - I've used wiesco forged pistons - and I want some feedback as to how noisy this pistons can be. The reason I ask is that I consistently get high knock readings (~40ish) from my PFC, mainly when the engine is cold. This is even under VERY light load. Secondly – how accurate are the PFC knock readings – are these something I can trust as a accurate reading for pre ignition, or could I still get pinging that does not register on the PFC. Lastly - I also notice what I will describe as a rattle - when the engine is under light load. (It may happen under heavy load – but I just can't here it over the engine note) Lets say I'm highway driving at about ~80klms and I come to a slight hill. I squeeze the throttle just to maintain speed as I pull up the hill - and I get the rattle. This happens at low boost under almost no load (~3000rpm). Could I be getting knock under almost ZERO load ? The noise is high pitched, high speed rattle or ticking. It sounds a lot like cold forged pistons or even tappet rattle to me - but it happens even when the engine is hot. Talk to me guys - is this a death rattle ? The PFC was installed and tuned by Mazfix here in Brisbane – and they assure me they had no knock during the tune process. They are also happy to have another look at it for me.
