Mine started boosting @ ~3k rpm - and held good power all the way to the red line - even past it some times -> 8500rpm and still pulling strong I was getting a good 8-9psi by 3500rpm – but I was not running with an EBC at that time. full boost by 5K rpm WOW - 22 psi - what's the diff between N1s and Nismos - anyone ? -

Rosdyr32 not sure if this will help - but I had R32 N1's on my GTR - and I think they match your specs of 60/.64 BUT They were only rated at 300ps each I think. I now have R34 N1s and they are rated at 320ps each. I've also herd that 18psi (1.23 bar) is about as much as you would want to push them. They will go to 21psi when pushed - but only if you can keep them cool (BIG FMIC) Have a look at the R34 N1's on nismo.com for some more info HtH -
Not necessarily guys I also have a R32 GTR (doesn't everyone) - when I did a compression test it was a steady ~150psi across the block (+/- 5psi) - but a leak down test told a VERY different story (pots 4 and 6 were shot). Pot 6 always goes first – and points to low fuel pressure apparently (some fault with the plenum design??) I saw the pistons and the bore once it was striped down – and they were in very bad shape (now running 1 size over) BUT She also ran fine (even @ idle) and running 15psi she pushed out 210awkw with R32 N1 turbos. Not bad with only 4 pistons – and everything else standard. Only reason I found out was that I wanted to do some more mods – and get a LITTLE more power – so I started with a full check over of the engine. Ended up pulling the head off just to make sure – and things went down hill from there. A FULL rebuild fixed the problem ($10K latter) Now pulling 280+awkw

Oh forgot to add - the Tomei pump should be around the $370 mark AU I think (greenline's current price) - expect Nengun to match that -

thanks Steve I hear you I will be ordering the tomei pump from Nengun (as soon as he lists it - today !!!) (I have other Tomei stuff - so it's a safe bet for me) can I fit the pump without a re-tune - I have a PCF - but would like to fit the pump myself -
All I'm doing a fuel pump upgrade for my R32 GTR, and I want to know the diff between an internal an external pump I've seen plenty of threads on the Bosch 044 externals - but my mechanic is recommending a Bosch internal (not sure on model), but he says it will flow to 600hp (which is fine for my requirements) Is the internal an easier upgrade – he talking ~$150 to fit it for me ? Are externals better/stronger/faster how difficult is the fitting – could I do it myself (anyone have a how to guide)

All I am just about to replace the std AFMs on my R32 GTR with RB25 units. doing other stuff too I have Ms/HKS pods - that I'd like to keep - anyone know where I could get a mild steel pipe kit made up to suite (80mm) - in Brisbane

All I'm thinking of some more minor tweaks for my GTR (as always). I'm looking at the price diff between injectors sizes. I was keen on the HKS 550cc BUT Nengun has SARD 800cc Twin Hole injectors at what looks like a very good price (cheaper than HKS) - anyone running with these - what diff does the twin hole make - can someone compare HKS with SARD - will my PFC understand these

All I've just done a full engine rebuild on my R32 GTR (almost run in now) and I'm planning on taking it to the next level. I have the following bits ready to install PCF + HC Tomei Adj CAM gears in/out HKS 550cc injectors I've just picked up a pair of RB25 AFMs (herd they were a cheap upgrade) and I was wondering if .... the PFC has a setting for these can I swap them for the std AFMs before fitting the PFC Anyone know where I can get a piping kit for these to suit my GTR - I have pods (Ms I think) can I keep those and just swap the pipe between the pod filter and the AFM will I also need to swap out the hose between the AFM and the turbo (flexible ?)

Dude did you roll / move the car with in ignition on I've herd that if you roll the car back a few feet with the ignition on - it drops into some sort of diag mode it has happened to me before – I needed to move the car in my garage – had the ignition on, but could not be bothered to get in the car ? no big deal

OK - so the turbo is the ONLY thing that delivers the power CAMS, CAM gears, ECU, air flow etc etc my 2c worth - nothing to do with this thread tho -
R32 N1's are steel wheel but NOT BB The R34 units are steel wheel WITH BB - I ?think? - few other diffs in the design if the comp wheels etc etc A/R in and ex are the same too I think

Hey Danny Yes they would be an upgrade - I had a pair (sold) on my R32 - and I was getting an easy 210awkw @ 15 psi (no other mods). I have a dyno jpg somewhere if you are interested (search through my posts if you like) They came on boost @ 3000rpm - held good power right past 8000rpm now have R34 N1s - which are slightly better again HtH

ricknismo I have an R32 - and have just done the SAME rebuild, I'm also still runnin in (~1500klms on the dial so far) – I have R34 N1s with hks style non-turbulent dumps and a full 3.5” exhaust + the other stuff you mention At 8psi - I'm gettin ~180awkw I'd say (I can keep up with a std WRX and VYSS) B4 the rebuild I had about 210awkw – but my bottom end was shot (pots 4 and 6 totally rooted), no dumps, no port and polish blah blah blah It does not rev out as smoothly as it did b4 - but it I'm not expecting things to fully loosen up until past 5000klms (at least) and I have lost the mineral oil I have the PFC + Adj CAMS + 550cc injectors + Apexi EBC to install in the next week or so. I'm expecting somewhere near 280awkw @ 1bar once this kit is installed and tuned

Anyone running with one of these (this is not the AVC-R is it ?) P/N 415-A001 I have an R32 GTR and I'm just about to install PCF + CAMS + 550cc injectors Is this a good boost control solution (match for the PCF ?) -
All I have just received my PFC + HC (from nengun) and need some pointers on installation. (doco is in Japanese – obviously !!) Can I just plug in (swap over) and drive I've herd there is some sort of run in procedure (learning mode?) I have an R32 GTR with a freash full engine rebuild + R34 N1s and full exhaust (no other mods yet) Is this safe to do – or should I wait until I can get the beast to a dyno anyone have the PFC manual in English (PDF)
