  2. so that's about 270rwkw - at only 17psi (1.2 bar) - yes ? what other mods did he have I was thinking more around the 320rwkw mark myself @ ~20psi (1.4 bar) will I need cams and pullys to get this number ?

My upgrade plan is as follows (in order) Stage 1: full rebuild with forgies + the N1s – done Stage 2: PFC + HC and dyno tune (real soon now) Stage 3: 044 fuel pump + 700cc injectors + Splitfire coils Stage 4: 600x300x100 FMIC + hard piping (did I miss anything?) I'd like to keep the boost under 20psi – just to be on the SAFE side I'll probably do AFMs somewhere along the way too – see my post about RB25 AFMs on a GTR The bigger FMIC will keep the temp down - yes any guesses on a rwkw for this sort of setup

  5. OK those of you that have seen my recent posts will now that I have just rebuild the motor in my R32 GTR (should get the beast back this Friday). I have strengthened the bottom end and done a minor port and Polish (with a few other bits too) – but the major upgrade replaces the std turbos with a pair of N1s off an R34 V-SpecII These are relatively small (street) turbos I know – but how much boost can I safely run – and where can I find some info (specs) on these turbos. I've done a few searches – but didn't find too much TIA
  6. good work sure does help - looks like a good (cheap) option for me BUT - Nissan are quoting ~$700ea for an RB25 AFM - does that sound right ?

  9. All I've herd that I can run RB20/RB25 AFMs on my R32 gtr - cheaper than Z32/Q45 - easy to get 2nd hand too I expect what's the story what diameter are they (80mm?) is this a good idea how difficult is the swap I have a Blitz Access ECU – will that cope with the change
  10. Yep ! got that - about 2 seconds after clicking on 'Post Quick Replay' so 400rwhp = ~300rwkw - right ?
  11. Hmmm I would have thought that 400rwkw was beyond the capacity of the N1's ? I've herd they will peak at ~500bhp at the engine
  12. OK now I'm confused (easily done 4 me) will they fit up to anything else or not - I'd like to know if I should sell (eBay) them as a pair or separately also what ps rating do they have (280ps I've herd) - anyone have the specs handy for me PLEASE !!!!
  13. was running std turbos @ ~15psi - no dump pipes - and was getting 210rwkw pots 1 and 4 were almost total shot tho can't wait to get the car back (and wait 5000klms for it to run in)
  14. Sorry guys - quick correction It's not mines - it's Blitz. It's still got to go tho any input on rwkw for the inital setup ? (I'm hoping for ~250rwkw @ 18psi)

All I have just rebuilt my R32 GTR as follows forged/balanced shot peened (solid) bottom end N1 Turbos N1 bearings R34 crank port and polish head HKS dump pipes and 80mm exhaust (no cat) 1.2mm TOMEI head gasket N1 Water N1 Oil Std cooler and AFM Mines ECU What sort of rwkw should I expect @ ~18psi (should be fine with the N1's yes?) What mods should I look at next and in what order FMIC + hard piping kit PCF Z32s 044 Fuel Pump + injectors
  18. All I have just replaced my std R32 turbos with N1's - and the std units will go up for sale real soon now. What will they fit ? Another GTR obviously - but what about other motors RB20/RB25, what about S13s etc
  19. have you checked your fuel presure (regulator) ? I have a malpassi (spelling) that has been playing up - and I get the same problem
  20. R U still after a turbo - I've just upgrade to a pair of N1s, so I now have 2 x STD turbos off an R32 GTR. Done a little under 50,000Ks. Both turbos in good (working) condition
  21. All anyone know where I can get a HICAS locking kit fitted in Brisbane (someone that has done it b4) I also want to remove all the HICAS stuff once the kit is installed

Tomei adj cam pulleys (inlet and exhaust) tomei full metal gasket kit – or at least a 1.2mm head gasket HKS dump pipes (I think HKS call it an extension kit) forged pistons (recommendations ?) I'd prefer someone local – that get source the parts relatively quickly (within a week or so) (I'm in Brisbane BTW)
