  1. Sam, you just need the Strut Tops, and bump stops if you didn't get new ones thru the group buy, so you should widen your search to incl. any blown shockers too. Also if you need car stands, i have a pair you can borrow, and Darren has a pair too which I'm sure he's willing to lend you. And you'll need spring compressors to take apart the stock susp. if you don't have them, you can borrow mine
  2. Spotted 3 'lines on the way to work this morning. #1 Wine Red R33, with 2 young blokes onboard and Qld plates, following me up Fullarton Rd. #2 Black R32, good looking blondie driving, turning right in to North Tce by the wine centre. #3 Silver R33, no front bar, turning right from Regency Rd on to Main North Rd.
  3. True, mine made close to 150RWKW @ 12 psi last year on Shaun's dyno, it had a chipped ECU, but it's not far different from the stock maps mainly improving the bottom end.
  4. NissKid, did you ever find out if your ECU was chipped?
  5. I spotted a Ceffy helping out a broken down Subaru Brumby last at ~17:30 last night in Mawson Lakes. And i spotted Vange this morning at ~9:00 on Main North Rd near Sefton Plaza, heading south, as i was going the other way to work.
  6. An ex-resident of KI told me, that in peak season the local hire car company gets a vehicle written off EVERY day, and most Adelaide companies specifically exclude KI from their insurance cover. The roads are supposedly appalling, marble-like gravel everywhere, and very slippery. :s
  7. My old housemate did it in one day. MAD! Apart from your regular piss/petrol stops he only holed up once for a few hours break and shower. Said he'd never do it again though.
  8. http://auto.howstuffworks.com/catalytic-converter.htm You'll note the chemical reactions only really works at stoich, because of the need for that extra O2, so closed-loop driving only you eco-warriors!
  9. 6 months notice?! If we were only going half way to Melb you could do it all in 1 weekend, I'd just need a few weeks / a month, personally. Sure if it was some big muster you'd need a lot of notice but then I'd drop a LOT of things to be there regardless.
  10. The SAU Vic Club has pretty full calendar (incl. cruises) so it'd have to fit in there. Also unless we went the whole way, I'm not really sure how good the routes would be from on our half, the GOR only really gets good between Lorne to Apollo Bay, and simply doing the direct highway drive isn't exactly riveting (trust me I've done it a dozen times in the last few years). There were rumours of a Oz wide "Skyline Muster" earlier in the year, but it didn't gain enough traction, damned shame as I would have gone for sure! Edit: Could always hookup with some Western Vic people? They seem to have a couple of events on the horizon: http://www.wvcruiseclub.com/forumdisplay.php?f=63 They seem fairly organised and mature, despite a high percentage of Falcadore drivers, and they have a disclaimer.
  11. If you can find one that cheap you're doing better than me, Nissan want ~$1000 new, wreckers are about $200-300, and privately their $100-$200. However, this did get me thinking, if it's wasted spark you'd only need 3 channels of the ignitor too, and since only one of mine (cyl #3) crapped out you could probably mod it up to work. If i get the inclination i might just give it a burl.
  12. The way that's worded implys she is for sale. How much you think you'd get for her? Pretty sure the establishment don't get too fussy about using the logo and wotnot so long as you're not turning a profit off it.
  13. Please do. You know I'm dying to check one out up close.
  14. Sorry, but fancy dress is always such a pain in the arse...
  15. I've got coilpacks, plus a Consult Port diagnostic wotsit, so we can have a look at your O2 sensor (and other) voltages. Lemme know if you need a hand and wanna come around. P.S. I'm right by the city. Parkside/Unley.
  16. I was in Belair National Park over the weekend, and up the back it looks like they've recently done up the "Karka" area, pretty damned nice and a good BBQ spot. It's $7 per car entry but that'd hardly break the bank.
  17. Oosh

    Skyline?

hahaha I sent him an "Enquiry"
  18. If Duke3D (instead of the original 2.5D), works on my lap top, and is to be played, I'm a LOT more interested than i was.
  19. I haven't been spotted in ages, I reckon ever since i switched mufflers, you used to hear me a mile off and know to look.
  20. Was poking around SCCSA's website and this was in their August Newsletter:
  21. Just had a friend SMS she bought a ticket for $400 on eBay!
  22. Everyone does know it's Grand Final day on the 30th yeah? Personally I'm not TOO fussed, given that the bombers chance of even making it in to the 8 is slimmer than a bees dick! But the locals are in with a fighting chance. At the very least we should have a radio/tv playing it there.
  23. Yeah me too. There's traders on NS.com now doing $399 Alu ones.
  24. Yeah my valley cover will be going back on. But I'll have to take another part of my car off to compensate for the additional weight.
  25. You and everyone else on this board. You might be to BS your way to a trade discount but it wont be stellar.
