  1. Does anyone have an update on Drew and the others? Edit: According to this NS.com thread, "~*~Missy~*~" apparenty knows/knew Tony & Yasmin (did we have it wrong as Jasmin?), well she's out of ICU and into recovery which is good, but unfortunatey the older woman from the other car died. Is anyone else able to confirm this info?
  2. Plenty more info. in this sub-forum: http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/in...hp?showforum=80
  3. Very nice. Still planning a hi-po NA build mate?
  4. You can get R32 RB26's for $4K if you look hard enough. So long as you go in with your eyes open and give it the once over to make sure there's no major dramas its fine. Just depends how much time you want to spend dicking around with your car as opposed to driving it.
  5. Cheers mate. Cept looks like i might not be going now.
  6. Saw a Gunmetal R33 stopped with it's bonnet up on Hampstead Rd, between Muller & Taunton, last night around 5:45. I would have stopped to see if you needed a hand bud, but i had to be in Payneham by 6, hope it was nothing major.
  7. Planning on seeing the Adelaide v. Essendon match next week, to watch my team get smashed, but I've never been to AAMI Stadium before and need advice on seating. The five areas BASS have listed online for plebs are: * A Reserve - Northern Balcony, under cover * B Reserve - Concourse, under cover * C Reserve - Northern Balcony, open * D Reserve - Premium Terrace (on the eastern wing) * E Reserve - Standard Terrace (northern and southern end) Figure I'll be taking A or B and wanted some opinions etc. Cheers, - Ash.
  8. I'm interesting in going on Sunday. My car isn't exactly "show quality".
  9. It'd be a nice touch, you'd never manage the logistics of getting people to sign it, so someone did it on everyone's behalf with something generic like: "From all your friends in the Skylines Australia community."
  10. Spotted: White Stagea, around 8AM, around the back streets of Windsor Gardens (near the school).
  11. There will be another cruise, just not for the moment, and we've done nametags (on people) in the past, I felt it worked well but some were reluctant to wear them (dunno why).
  12. My IEBC stopped working over the weekend, noticed it when my boost went a bit too high, I ripped it out and haven't had time investigate why. Stock boost for me atm.
  13. Saw the report on the news last night, SMS'd Andrew, and was shocked to hear my fears confirmed that it involved the cruise. My condolences to friends and family of the deceased, and i wish the female passenger and Drew a speedy recovery, poor bloke. I too am also curious as to if he's at the RAH as my girfriend, and several other people i know, works as nurses there incl. one in ICU (Intensive Care) where he probably is.
  14. Yeah that thing is a waste, it needs to cranked all the way up to show anything, it may as well just be a simple resistor. Oh and this is what you're looking for:
  15. Sounds pretty good so far... ad hoc 1. for this particular purpose 2. special 3. created on the spur of the moment, impromptu
  16. That was an NS cruise, and be nice, my radiator was just fine up until the point my fan went thru it!

    Topgear: 2007 Gt-r

It was always going to look similar to the 250Z, Skyline, Maxima, etc. to maintain that current Nissan DNA. The R34 is great, but you don't get anywhere copying old designs, R31 to R32 was revolution, R32 to R34 (~12 years) was evolution, now we're back to revolution for a new modern look.
  18. RowdyR32 managed to make his survive a RB26 @ ~250RWKW, you just have to be aware of it's relative fragility, and drive accordingly.
  19. http://www.topgear.com/content/features/st...ories/06/1.html P.S. Did a quick search so i hope this hasn't already been linked.
  20. If you get it endorsed by the Lukemia Foundation, inform the cops, generally to the hard work and get it well organised and "official", I'll wager you'll get a fare few people turning up. If this is just an "espression of interest", based on the above I'm in, but if it's going to be ad hoc then forget it. Best of luck.
  21. For the record, I'm looking HIGHLY doubtful of attending, just too much on that weekend methinks.
  22. Wendy Icon Some awesome local heavy glam rock to start, great stuff. Emery Great band, but just what the hell does the keyboardist do, apart from dance and ponce about like a mad man? Flogging Molly Dodgy Irish Ska band, fronted by a cross between Austin Powers & The Proclaimers, supported by a full cast of 'tards incl. a fat reject from The Corrs' family tree. Story of the Year Just plain brilliant, so much energy, tore the place apart!
  23. On a somewhat related note, check out this emo fringed cow: http://moblog.co.uk/view.php?id=88745
  24. Well I guess that answers my question. Didn't know about NFSU, mate at work played me their stuff, doubt he heard it there either. I reckon it's not bad, plus the support act Emery, figured why not go check em out.
