  1. It'd be a nice touch, you'd never manage the logistics of getting people to sign it, so someone did it on everyone's behalf with something generic like:

"From all your friends in the Skylines Australia community."

  2. Saw the report on the news last night, SMS'd Andrew, and was shocked to hear my fears confirmed that it involved the cruise.

My condolences to friends and family of the deceased, and i wish the female passenger and Drew a speedy recovery, poor bloke.

I too am also curious as to if he's at the RAH as my girfriend, and several other people i know, works as nurses there incl. one in ICU (Intensive Care) where he probably is.

  3. Especially if ur radiator aint up to scratch :laughing-smiley-014: ..lol

That was an NS cruise, and be nice, my radiator was just fine up until the point my fan went thru it!

  4. It was always going to look similar to the 250Z, Skyline, Maxima, etc. to maintain that current Nissan DNA.

The R34 is great, but you don't get anywhere copying old designs, R31 to R32 was revolution, R32 to R34 (~12 years) was evolution, now we're back to revolution for a new modern look.

  5. If you get it endorsed by the Lukemia Foundation, inform the cops, generally to the hard work and get it well organised and "official", I'll wager you'll get a fare few people turning up.

If this is just an "espression of interest", based on the above I'm in, but if it's going to be ad hoc then forget it.

    Best of luck.

  6. Wendy Icon

Some awesome local heavy glam rock to start, great stuff.

    Emery

Great band, but just what the hell does the keyboardist do, apart from dance and ponce about like a mad man?

    Flogging Molly

Dodgy Irish Ska band, fronted by a cross between Austin Powers & The Proclaimers, supported by a full cast of 'tards incl. a fat reject from The Corrs' family tree.

    Story of the Year ;)

Just plain brilliant, so much energy, tore the place apart!

  7. Well I guess that answers my question.

Didn't know about NFSU, mate at work played me their stuff, doubt he heard it there either. I reckon it's not bad, plus the support act Emery, figured why not go check em out.

  8. I've been on a hal dozen or so and the worst we had was a motorbike copper turn around and follow us to Norton Summit, have a couple of words with 2-3 of the guys, mainly about crossing white lines etc. then leave us alone.

  9. I liked the idea of front electric motors, given that GT-R's have always been rear biased anyways, so the 'lectrics can kick in when needed.

That'd save weight in transfer cases and shafts etc but you'd probably more than gain it back in the motors and batteries.

    *sigh*
