  1. I have a good idea what this is all about, and am very excited by the prospect, happy to help out where i can.
  2. Only if you get in a landlord's ear and do us a deal
  3. Darren: I could handle Wayville/Unley as a locale but everything halfway decent around there is tres pricey! Duc: Is it a UniSA Share? I saw one of their houses online and it looked like it'd been purpose built to hold as many cattle, oops i mean students, as possible. Not my thing really. But I'd appreciate what details you can get.
  4. Thanks for the offer Brendan. To be honest, I do have one place lined up, and I'd be fine living there but it'd be a bit cramped so I'm throwing it out there to see if anything better pops up. Oh and I probably should have put a date on it. I need a place by no later than 31st May.
  5. No ones got anything to say? I'll probably give that first one a ring ths arvo.
  6. Hey Peoples, My housemate is moving back to Queensland, so I'm in need of a place to live, so if you, or someone you know, is looking for an additional person to move in, please let me know. I'm after somewhere no further South than the city, so lets say North of Greenhill Rd, and not much further North than where i work, Mawson Lakes. I need a room that can at least fit a Queen-sized bed and some hanging space. Other than that i don't have much gear, just a TV & Stereo really, but I'm willing to go out and buy some whitegoods etc. to bring to the party if thats what the house needs. Cheers, - Ash.
  7. Yellowpages threw up 3 places within easy limping distance, any further and I'll prolly need a tow truck (which I'm willing to do if necessary), so does anyone have experiences with these joints? 8. That's BS, it's a piss easy job, and their's no way the parts cost that much. You can get a guchi Sard hard rad piping kit for half that amount.
  9. It's turned in to a bigger problem now, I barely got home last night using only 2nd gear, and now it seems stuck in 5th in my garage.
  10. Well it got worse last night. changing down from 5th i couldn't get it to fully disengage, then clutch in at the lights i finally got it in to 1st and couldn't shift any higher than 2nd. At it was making some god awful rattling and grinding noises, esp. on decelleration. Managed to limp the last couple of kays home like that, then when parked in the garage I was jiggling it about to see what gears i did have, and it got stuck in 5th again but this time won't budge. JOY!
  11. It dnoset wkro wlel for all ieatcnnss of wdros but msot of tehm dnot pnsreet too mcuh of a pbloerm.

  13. Star Trekking across the universe, always going forwards coz we cannot find reverse! Yes this morning i had to get out of my driveway sans reverse, it all seems exactly the same as this thread: http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/in...8entry2101068 So now i just need to take it to a mech who will listen and not insist i need a gearbox rebuild. And there nominations are: you all fill in this bit... Cheers, - Ash.
  14. I think I'm that next person... ...no reverse this morning and all the same symptoms. Now to find a reputable mech to sort it out.
  15. I'd keep looking, that's too much money, and who knows how deep the rabbit hole goes re: Climate Control gremlins? There's plenty of R32 Sedans about...
  16. If you've got some skillz with a soldiering iron, don't mind how "pretty" it looks, and can devote some setup time... Go the Jaycar IEBC, I'm really pleased with mine, and there is NO better value for money. IEBC - $80 Handcontroller - $60 But you're welcome to borrow mine during setup. 17. Here's a quick and dirty version of the panorama I took, it's ~4500 pixels wide so you should be able to zoom in a bit.

    On Holiday

There's the North Adelaide Food & Wine Festival on 2nd, and in the middle of the month (15th - 17th) is the Oakbank Racing Carnival. Other than that there's the generic SA visits: - Barossa - Victor Harbour - etc. My folks always find summin to do when they visit from Melb, they've seen more of the state than i have.
  22. But remaps have the added advantage of higher resolution, maintaining all the factory safety stuff (R&R), plus they look stock. There's a lot to be said for them but they only really get useful if the person doing has an EEPROM Emulator ($$$) instead of just a burner, else it's burn a chip, dyno it, alter map and burn again, dyno, ad nauseum.
  23. Could I just place a blanket ban on VN Commodores?
  24. Next time save it as a JPEG dip shit! I'll have to give some lessons when I'm back in Melb.
  25. Sorry, i thought we were talking R32's, well i have the opposite problem.
