Oosh was there.
Yes, yes I was, there were quite a few 4drs in general but not sure if there were any other R32s.
-
Sounds more than fair. PM on its way.Awsomecan both you guys pm me your contact numbers and i'll get in touch with you this week some time, as i need them asap.
You will get the wheels back with brand new tyres on them, as i have already paid for this as part of the compliance expense.
Hope this will cover your inconvenience?
Thanks guys

Looks like I'm back up and running, if you wish to contact me please do it via this account, not the one above.
Cheers,
- Ash.

Cheers for the PM.
I'll most likely be going directly to point #2, so don't fret if you don't see me at #1, I know you regular northerners would all get worried if you thought I wasn't coming.
-
Mine's done that a few times, but always just ended up dangling by the cable, thats some bad luck mate.
-
Yeah, depends, if you want a little stealth fine black mesh FTW.
As for the protection factor, well maybe with a tube/fin, but bar/plate is pretty much bullet-proof.
-
Note: I would have put this in the consolidated Jokes thread,
but it seems we've a new net filter at work and it wouldn't let me access it,
all those dodgy definitions sent it in to a conniption fit!

You could do a lot worse than a R31 as a first car, and a RB30E is still an RB, they're all good engines.
-
LOL I was going to volunteer you too.
-
It's all getting PM'd closer to the date.
-
I've only been on the SA scene for a year, but i'd be happy to help out where i can, being an ex-Victorian I've been to a few of your past events with Gareth (RowdyR32) so i'm sure this be a good project and wont be time wasted.
I'll PM you too.
-
Looking good Chaps!
Edit: I have a rough R32 4-dr and mismatched rims (i could paint them black too) if you want a dorifto wedding!
-
Calder Park in Melbourne is still a bit of shit-hole, if you were going to move anywhere for drag racing it'd to be near WSID or Willowbank, bonus with Qld is they have some great (read slack) rules when it comes to street cars and mods.
-
Then I'll see you there.yeah Ash we dont seem to cross paths lately anymore but yes im definately going to the 4/6/rotary nats. that i cannot miss, last yr was bloody awesome. -
Damnit Duc! I always miss you at these things, it's been bloody ages, oh well you going to the 4/6/Rotor Nats?have fun guys/girls. unfortunately i wont be able to make this one.
I guess this is something that'll have to be assesed closer to the date, when a final roll call is done...If this cruise is going to be huge then i hope someone has informed the police of it ?,otherwise they will freak it and pull everyone overWith any large organisation that set up a cruise this big, always phone the cops first just to let them know

It has a viscous clutch, if the fluid gets too hot it might cause this, or you just got another buggered fan. It's a pretty common problem.
-
Spotted, awesome 3 way - 32, 33, 34.
All at Mel and Pawley's place!
They running some sort of middle-aged swingers club?
-
:lol:that is childish......ill smash his face in.
-

I can HIGHLY recommend SydneyKid's susp. group by Andrew, the rides not too firm at all, and the handling is top notch (better than my Tein HA's without the super harsh ride).
And it's only going to get better once i (if i ever) fit the sway bars!
That's the R34 Group Buy.

Passed a silver R33 S2 which was turning in to Montague Rd, which then pulled in behind me, and headed up Main North. All this morning.
Anyone from here?
-
We went to the pub last time, i think it's called The Crown (???), and that was good. However, I'm easy, be it BBQ/Primo/Etc.
Edit: Thinking about it a BBQ is just another thing to organise and might be more hassle than it's worth.

The fluid clutch in the fan is seized, meaning it will spin at whatever you rev the car to, usually they're setup to not go above a certain rpm.
Get on to this ASAP because they have been known to let go and go thru bonnets. No Joke.

Having done Melb-Adel (or vice-versa) at least a dozen times in the past few years, it's hardly an exciting trip, and it usually works out cheaper to fly these days.
Admitedly i can steal a car off my folks whenever I'm down there.
