  1. Then I'll see you there.
  2. Damnit Duc! I always miss you at these things, it's been bloody ages, oh well you going to the 4/6/Rotor Nats? I guess this is something that'll have to be assesed closer to the date, when a final roll call is done...
  3. It has a viscous clutch, if the fluid gets too hot it might cause this, or you just got another buggered fan. It's a pretty common problem.
  4. They running some sort of middle-aged swingers club?
  5. Welcome! If you're free you might like to come to the Victor cruise organised for next month. http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/in...howtopic=101023 Cheers, - Ash.
  6. I can HIGHLY recommend SydneyKid's susp. group by Andrew, the rides not too firm at all, and the handling is top notch (better than my Tein HA's without the super harsh ride). And it's only going to get better once i (if i ever) fit the sway bars! That's the R34 Group Buy. http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/in...pic=88141&st=40
  7. Passed a silver R33 S2 which was turning in to Montague Rd, which then pulled in behind me, and headed up Main North. All this morning. Anyone from here?
  8. We went to the pub last time, i think it's called The Crown (???), and that was good. However, I'm easy, be it BBQ/Primo/Etc. Edit: Thinking about it a BBQ is just another thing to organise and might be more hassle than it's worth.
  9. The fluid clutch in the fan is seized, meaning it will spin at whatever you rev the car to, usually they're setup to not go above a certain rpm. Get on to this ASAP because they have been known to let go and go thru bonnets. No Joke. http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/in...showtopic=67746
  10. Ahh but your average Porsche driver is a 40+ Accountant, where as we're all quite obviously "young hoons", tell me who's going to attract the most attention. Look this stuff is all pretty hit and miss, like last year about a dozen of us thru the hills passed a motorbike cop, who promptly did u-turn and followed us to Norton Summit for a few words. Or the night cruise when Richardo/Jason/Me were parked in Lobethal and got a verbal going over by the local constabulary. So long as locales are kept on the down-low and it's not a 100+ NS style affair, i think we're pretty safe from a carpark ambush, anything else on the road is really down to how you behave and plain dumb luck. On a lighter note however, are we planning to have a late lunch at the pub in Victor, if so with (potentially) this many people would it be a good idea to make a booking closer to the date?
  11. Mate, you're organising this cruise, and must be doing something right as so far it's looking like it'll be a well attended one. So don't relinquish the reins just yet... But I do suggest you relax the car restriction, as i think everyone is sufficiently aware they're accountable for their actions, and those of their friends. And anyone who turns up in their mum's Magna knows they'll get laughed at.
  12. Because I'm facetious by nature. That's right, I didn't, did I? Weren't you ever told not to get in to cars with strangers?
  13. I think someone was just trying to get pokie in their car!
  14. It'll probably be the solenoid or a relay in your case B6T.
  15. I only ever did a power run on their dyno, so can't vouch for their work, but from talking to them they seem like really a good bunch down there.
  16. No one (who knows you) believed you so a second when you asid you wouldn't mod it. But who cares? Those gauges are looking bloody nice btw. As for V35's a nice 6sp like this baby would be awesome! http://www.prestigemotorsport.com.au/au/st...sp?StockID=3569
  17. It'd be nice to see your machine on the road mate, hope you can make it. As for the Non-Skyline issue, I've never had a problem with the mix of cars, I've found those who primarily use SAU to all be good* people thus far. BUT ultimately it IS up to the organiser as Cubes said. [*] It's a relative term.
  18. I know it sounds unrelated, but check you battery voltage, when mine started to sag due to a damaged lead the PS solenoid was the first thing to stop working. Although my problem was intermitant, and a mate in his 180SX just lunch his PS pump after drifting, it's certainly hard on vehicles.
  19. Should be fine, Rb20's are pretty resillient, i'd say it'll all be sweet.

    Hey All

A love of fast cars, and even faster women, hey Chapman?
  21. The one's aproved for import run the 1JZGTE, i think you can bring the 2JZGE (never came with a 2JZGTE unfort) models too, but there was a whole bunch of models offered incl. 2.4L Diesel. http://english.auto.vl.ru/catalog/toyota/chaser/1996_9/ Awesome cars.
  22. Queue: Choral Music, Parting of the Clouds, And Sunshine from the Heavens. Haaaal-lelujah! Hallelujah! Hallelujah! HALLELUJAH!
  23. I feel your pain, i was a happier person before i saw it...
  24. But the real intellectual property isn't in the LEM hardware, it's the algorithms Bose has spent the last 25 years developing, my guess is they'll have to come to some sort of compromise before we'll see it on the road.
