I'd only consider the 1JZ if it was a later model, '96 onwards i believe, single turbo VVTi item. The original TT one isn't nearly as good. My 2c.

I'm in, unless I go to the Southern 80 over the 11th-12th. If you do check points we'll spend half the day getting everyone together. Since we're heading south, make the meet point down south, sure some people might still have to head north, and be doubling back on the cruise, but that's just the way these things go. My 2c.

I had a p/s problem in my R32, the assistance would cut out at the most inconvenient times (e.g. half-way thru a corner), turned out to be related to my electrics. My voltage was sagging due to a dodgy earth lead from the battery, and it seems the p/s solenoid was the first component to play up, must have a narrow operating voltage range.

If i was buying now, as much as it pains me to say it, I'd be going the R33. R32's are just getting too old IMHO. It'd have to be a S2 or a 400R kitted one though.

The GTR thing makes sense, but 2 x WBO2 kits is getting a bit exorbinant, my only other issue would be with comparing the accuracy. It says it's setup to emulate a Bosch LSM-11, what do Skylines run by default, and how close are they to this? My guess would be there's not much difference, and that it shouldn't effect the car much, but if it did you'd notice the shit fuel economy pretty quick!

Looking thru the stats on these, they have an simulated Narrow band outpur (NBsim), is anyone using this? i.e. Completely replacing the stock O2 sensor with the new WB one, then plumbing the NBsim output in to your ECU, or are you just mounting both?

Saturday - Hill Climb --------------------------- 10:15 - Meet @ North Eastern location. 10:30 - Depart (we'll decide which route to take on the day) 11:30/12:00 - Arrive. Sunday - Show'n'Shine ------------------------------ 10:15 - Meet @ Western location (10 mins from Immanuel College) 10:30 - Depart Done & Done.

On to Saturday. Reckon i got a fix on the burnout/hill-climb joint's location. 8kms from Angaston on the Eden Valley Road As for getting there, well our regular NE meet spot is a good jumping off point (will PM those who don't know it in due time), the way i see there's 2 routes to get there. 1. * Main North Rd / Sturt Hwy to Nuriootpa * Turn off to Angaston * Turn off south Eden Valley Rd 2. * North East Rd / Adelaide - Mannum Rd to Birdwood * Trun left with the road & continue along towards Mt Pleasant * Becomes Mt Pleasant - Keyneton Rd up thru Springton & Eden Valley * Becomes the Eden Valley Rd and we attack it from the South. I'm making guess-timations here but i put them at about 60 & 90 mins respectively. #2 is more of a "traditonal" cruise route if that's what we want, or if we just want to get their, and watch the events then #1 is the go.

Further Sunday, if people want to meet up before-hand, i have a place in mind < 10 mins away then we can drive down together.' If anyone lives around that area, Novar Gardens, and knows of a good spot let me know. But for people who just want to rock up whenever I'm happy to PM my ph. no. out you.
