  1. Are you planning on being drunk or summin? Oh and ax53b70p25 ease up on the porcine comments. They've been known to read the forums, so lets not give them an excuse to think any less of us than they already do, the cop who gave us a talking to could have been one hell of a lot more unreasonable about it.
  2. Well seems we have a quite a few people interested in one day or another, shame you can't make it Duc, I haven't seen you in ages! Anyways I'm having a bit of trouble getting details on it all, I've at least got Sundays venue info. Immanuel College 32 Morphett Road Novar Gardens SA 5040 And from the entrants info. it looks like it's from 10am to 4pm As for Saturday I'm still digging...
  3. Hey peoples, who's going to this, if there's a few of us why not make a SAU "event" out of it. Fri - 200 Cars down on the Clipsal Grid. Sat - Hillclimb and Burnout Comps at Collingrove. Sun - Show 'n' Shine at Emanuel College Well I'll definately be checking out Sunday, Friday night i can live without, and I'm interested in Sat if the company is right. MEET DETAILS - Locations will be PM'd on request. Saturday - Hill Climb --------------------------- 10:15 - Meet @ North Eastern location. 10:30 - Depart (we'll decide which route to take on the day) 11:30/12:00 - Arrive. Sunday - Show'n'Shine ------------------------------ 10:15 - Meet @ Western location (10 mins from Immanuel College) 10:30 - Depart
  4. www.rb20det.com has your ECU pinout
  5. horsepowerinabox.com offer GT28RS put in your std RB20/25 exhaust housing for ~$1500 change over.
  6. What date is it? If I'm still in town I'd love to go, but events have conspired against me for the last however many years, and I've NEVER made it to one yet.
  7. hehehe i turn left when i should have gone right, and richo and the fellas followed me, at least we learnt not to park on the main drag. the copper knew we'd be driving "hard" since you couldn't put your hand on my front rims for more than a second, almost burnt myself, Nice to meet some new people even if we did get separated.
  8. yeap, reckon i'll still be there...
  9. prolly got 460ci in it or summin equally ridiculous
  10. f**k i want a Chaser as my next car, but i find it a bit hard to justify vs. a R34 GT-T Sedan, maybe i should worry about it when i'm in a position to get either.
  11. Improved Prod wasn't the only class racing, the Cobra was up against 2 ex V8 Supercars, they're a little bit too "improved" for that class too.
  12. Fair enuf, sorry to ask again, but which swaybars did you get?
  13. Ebola - I've got the gear to run it automatically, just haven't got around to hooking it up, ahh procrastination. Bl4cK32 - That's what i figured, even if the boiling point is higher, i wanna stay the right side of 100C. Cubes - Sounds OK to me.
  14. I have the consult readout, i must admit i haven't had a peak hour/hot day/ac combination as yet (i have a pretty clear run to work), but i've yet to see higher than 86 with fans on (it's got higher when I've forgot to switch them on ) Edit: Anyone know the max you'd want to see before it's trouble? Sounds like you've been pushing the limits Joel.
  15. I have a 16" ICE thermo, the trick with fans is where possible don't mount them flush on the radiator, they need to be set back slightly to be at their most effective. The 16" is good as it's larger than the core is high, so when you strap it on it sits against the top/bottom tanks, giving you said gap. Mine has been working well without a shroud, but it's on the cards, i also have to wire up a proper thermatic switch as i just do it manually after the car has warmed up at the moment (risky i know).
  16. Nah he's gonna spend all money on making the Lada do 10's
  17. Sorry, i don't quite get what you mean, it sticks 10mm out the top or the side? Still doesn't sound like an ideal solution, did you get the BNF28Z's too (24mm diameter), got some ideas for us SK?
  18. PM me the details, I might make it down, cheers.
  19. When are you gonna come on a cruise so we can all check it out regardless? That's why my baby gets locked up in the garage every night.
  20. I don't mind pulling the fronts in and out, the rears are a pain, esp. with the strut brace. Hey did you know you can get the susp. in and out WITHOUT removing the wheels? Just turn your steering full-lock each way for the fronts, and jack your car up good and high at the rear.
  21. so who's going, i MIGHT make my way up there for the later half of the evening, say 7:30 til 9:00pm. Oh and those needing directions, I'll post what i put in the other thread, as the directions i was given when first going out there were bollocks. 1. Go up Port Wakefield Rd, the turn-off is almost 10km past AIR, you just need to look out for the "4WD hire park course" sign (summin like that). 2. It's at least another 5km down the seeled road, you just keep going until there's no tarmac left, then turn on to the right-hand dirt road. 3. Those with low cars and hard susp, take it real easy on the road to the office, HEAVILY rutted and pot-holed.
  22. Oh and my neck is a wee bit toasty too!
