  1. I have the consult readout, i must admit i haven't had a peak hour/hot day/ac combination as yet (i have a pretty clear run to work), but i've yet to see higher than 86 with fans on (it's got higher when I've forgot to switch them on :O)

Edit: Anyone know the max you'd want to see before it's trouble? Sounds like you've been pushing the limits Joel.

  2. I have a 16" ICE thermo, the trick with fans is where possible don't mount them flush on the radiator, they need to be set back slightly to be at their most effective.

The 16" is good as it's larger than the core is high, so when you strap it on it sits against the top/bottom tanks, giving you said gap.

Mine has been working well without a shroud, but it's on the cards, i also have to wire up a proper thermatic switch as i just do it manually after the car has warmed up at the moment (risky i know).

  3. HAHAHA

LOL - I made the spotted page!

No worries, I hope the session was beneficial to you both with your upgrade to a 'family car' thoughts / decision.

Edit: If anyone else is thinking of upgrading their 'Line due to growing family issues, and wants to look over a Stagea 5door 4wd turbo wagon, drop me a PM and we'll work something out.

When are you gonna come on a cruise so we can all check it out regardless? :P

Some A hole tried to steal my car from my driveway last night. Luckily i disturbed them and they left in a hurry. I live in kensington so if anyone lives around there be extra careful. It looks as though they knew exactly what they were looking for and where to find it so i think they may have been casing me.

i know this is off topic, but i know this is the most frequented thread in the sa section so just be careful ppl's

That's why my baby gets locked up in the garage every night. :)

  4. so who's going, i MIGHT make my way up there for the later half of the evening, say 7:30 til 9:00pm.

Oh and those needing directions, I'll post what i put in the other thread, as the directions i was given when first going out there were bollocks. :D

    1. Go up Port Wakefield Rd, the turn-off is almost 10km past AIR, you just need to look out for the "4WD hire park course" sign (summin like that).

    2. It's at least another 5km down the seeled road, you just keep going until there's no tarmac left, then turn on to the right-hand dirt road.

    3. Those with low cars and hard susp, take it real easy on the road to the office, HEAVILY rutted and pot-holed.

  5. Hi Guys some questions, which I will do my best to answer;

    * The circlip is in the standard groove when the shocks are shipped from Bilstein.

    * The Whiteline springs should be lightly trapped.

    * You will need spring compressors on the standard springs as they have a lot of preload, about 300 lbs per inch.  So don't just undo the shock nut, stuff will hit you at very high velocity.

    Hope that helps

    Cheers

Okay, so which groove is for your recommended 330mm again? Edit: Oops that should be 350mm ;)

Now my bars have turned up, yay, but i seem to have received a BNF28Z rather than a BNF26Z. What are my options here?

i.e. The car is almost 100% street driven, I was intending to run both bars at their softest settings, where does BNF28Z at its softest sit in relation to a BNF26Z?

    Cheers.

Edit: I suppose i should double check that BNF26Z IS the correct one for this "kit", as you actually have BNR26Z down for both, being obviously a typo i assumed the F.

  6. Okay, my shocks, springs, and bump stops/dust covers have arrived, the sway bars are still in transit, but i'm a little confuse re: circlip grooves.

As you can see (despite the watermark's besst efforts):

I seem to have 7 grooves (3 silver, 2 yellow, then 2 silver) rather than 6, so which is which height SK?

    Cheers,

    - Ash.
