  1. Cheers Will, Shaun, and Andrew. To those of you who came to mine for the BBQ, you're all very welcome, and thanks for coming over. P.S. Darren, how'd your mate go at the Karts?
  2. For R32's the +ve rail is on the outside edge of the PCB.
  3. Just realised I gotta take my housemate to the airport @ ~9AM, so I'll definately be down there for the start of festivities, in fact I'll be well early (shall have to find someting to kill time). See you there peoples.
  4. This site is soley on piston engines but about the various configurations and their "smoothness", explains why straight 6's are so shit hot, in case anyone needs convincing! http://www.e31.net/engines_e.html
  5. Since we have an LS1 VY Calais, i think a VG30 Cima is acceptable
  6. The main concern with Ethanol is it's a solvent and can eat some types of fuel lines, but mate you drive a performance car, one that was designed to have a diet of Japanese super (100RON), tighten your belt and buy 98RON, buying lower octane fuel will only cost you a LOT more if you do engine damage because of it.

  14. The Jaycar kit is excellent, and can't be beat for the money, but it DOES require tuning. But once tuned correctly it'll build and hold boost however you like (within the limits of your turbo/exhasut/etc.). There is of course the added inconvenience of having to build it yourself, it become much less of a bargain if you buy a pre-built one.
  15. No no, admins should control the "global" dictionary.
  16. And you would have walked away with an even longer list of defects.syx, grab some new springs, or see if you can borrow some stock susp. for the inspection, swapping them in and out isn't too painful, as for kiddie seat points take it to a compliance shop and ask for a quote.
  17. and here's a thread on where to get them fitted: http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/in...ST&f=25&t=61780
  18. Pretty sure you've had this pointed out to you already, but have a look at SK's Group Buy, you'll struggle to find people on here with more suspension knowledge. http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/in...showtopic=85467
  19. I say do it. Provided you CAN customise the dictionary to take new words. One setting is usually to ignore words in all caps, so e.g. FMIC gets thru(<-spelling:)) but fmic gets pinged.
  20. did you also see that the report has been illegally leaked before it's been 100% finished?
  21. Well Midnight Purple IS my favourite Skyline colour.
  22. I could see mine through my CONSULT interface, but you can just jam some multimeter probes in your cigarette lighter socket, turned out to be a bad lead between my alternator and battery on my car therefore wasn't delivering enough charge.
  23. Well thanks to a mate at work, and 'The GIMP', my car has had a make-over.
