  1. It's just what that site is about, crazy cartoons, i love it. You should check out the some of the rest of it but i warn you it's kinda addictive.
  2. Well keep an eye on the SA area for cruises, with the weather getting better hopefully we'll have one soon and see you there, in fact check out the stickie up top there's a dyno day coming up if you're interested.
  3. If going duals on a twin-turbo GTR would it be best to go a crossover pipe from the dump/front pipes like most V8's do with pipes from each cyclinder bank?
  4. That'd be good but don't sweat it.
  5. SAPOL can defect me like anyone else, i'm hardly untouchable, but as i understand it I could still drive the car in Vic without clearing it. But as i intend to be here for a few months yet it'd be kind of inconvenient. That said I've never been pulled over despite my ridiculously loud exhaust, but I mainly put that down to not doing a great deal of driving outside peak hour, fingers crossed it stays that way.
  6. Got any pics, sounds interesting...
  7. Mine stands out the best, i can pick out Guy's too, the rest are pretty weel hidden. Personally I'm not that fussed.
  8. I'll probably be in, will know for certain when i get back from Melbourne, start of next month.
  9. good photos, lol @ blanking out the plates though, i can still read most of em.
  10. Were the originals LEDs or bulbs, if the latter then you'll need to add a resistor in series with the LED.
  11. Mine just has a bit of hose up the back and loops it back around.
  12. Well he did his u-turn and came in behind me, so i had hm for a while, i started taking it 60 everywhere so he overtook me, then Guy, but decided to snuggle up with you for the long haul.
  13. I went hunting for this little sucker, and ripped out the headligh beeper warning by accident, now i keep leving my headlights on.
  14. Have you check your battery voltage, i had a dodgy lead between the alternator and battery, the battery voltage was getting progressively worse over a couple of weeks but still running the car fine. Before the car conked out entirely the power steering started playing up becuase the voltage was too low to operate the solenoid.
  15. Nah mate, blue R32 sedan, and stay away from them flatbeds if you can.
  16. Oops! Looks like Sam dropped the ball, we'll make sure you get the details to the next one. Just a note to anyone organising these things in the future, once you've sent out the details via PM post a quick message in the thread, then hopefully anyone you've missed will be able to pipe up in time. Yeah they're not too far from each other, April's format was:Cruise to victor for lunch via direct route (express way), Then off to the karts, Then back home via indirect way (cutting up around meadows to the fwy then home). I think that worked pretty well. Another possibility is paintball in Kuitpo, but it'd require a minimum 10 people and a $10 per person deposit in advance, I'd be happy to organise that sometime if there was enough interest. Edit: Website here: http://www.paintballsports.com.au/
  17. yeah i'm not after drift, i'm prolly gonna pickup some whiteline gear fron SK's group-buy, i can install most of it myself but the setup is where I'll need a pro. cheers fellas.
  18. Being a mate, it pains me to do this (sorry Andrew), but this is too big: http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/in...hp?showuser=669
  19. Good day considering, excellent turnout, and the weather is only going to improve over the next few months. The other "variable" is just pot-luck so hopefully we can avoid that too. Thanks for organising it Sam.
  20. GTS4 Atessa system is the same as the GTR. The extra weight and drive-train loses would put me off AWD for a R32 with RB20DET, but if you seriously intend to swap in something bigger (i.e. RB25/26/30), then i'd consider it. Personally I'd like a 4-Door GTS4 with a RB26. AWD can have HICAS too, but don't get too excited by it, it's no where near as "bendy as Honda's 4WS (only 1 degree). You'll find many owners disable it, and IMHO it's a gimmick, in many cases makes the rear-end unpredicable when driving at 8/10 or more.
  21. My understanding (and 2nd hand expereince once more) is that it's up to the event organisers more than anything. A lot of events allow passenger runs in the first warm-up session, where driving must 80% of ability, but once the main game is on passengers are a no go.

  24. I can't speak from 1st hand experience, but i have been "pit crew" for RowdyR32 at Sandown, he's pretty blaise about this stuff and went out with stock radiator and no oil cooler. Just did an oil change before hand (2-3K old oil anyways), checked brakes, tyres, etc. (should of paid more attention to the susp. on his GTR before going out but that's another story) and bought some high-quality brake fluid. As these were super sprints, 6 laps or so long, temps weren't too bad. But the brake fluid was the problem, as he didn't change it over before hand, so by lap 4-5 his pedal was pretty much on the floor coz he'd boiled the old stuff. So, between each session I had to help him flush the brakes, and top up with the high-quality stuff. So i know the one thing I'll be doing for certain before hand, if/when i get out there, new brake fluid! Another thing is, if this is a CAMs event you'll be required to have an extinguisher, but even if it's not I'd still carry one (maybe even two). I've been meaning to get one even though all i do is drive on the road.
  25. Even Jaycar's cable is a bit exy, when i was living in Melb i went to a cabling specialist (in Moorabin), paid about half what Jaycar wanted for 4G stuff.
