  1. It's shaping up like I'll be kicking around Autosalon some time after lunch on Sat. If anyone finds themselves there at the same time and you have my number gimem a bell if you want to say hi!
  2. Just make one yourself out of 10W ceramic resistors from Jaycar, i can't remember the exact resisance value but do a search and find out, failing that PM RowdyR32 he successfully made and used one.
  3. Well my housemate and I are planning to go, which day i dunno, but if anything gets organised by COB tm i'll try and get there. Cheers, - Ash.
  4. If you want to organise it for more than a couple of people, then i suggest you plan little further ahead than this weekend, although if you want to scout the route go for it. Plus the Autosalon is on this weekend, it's all wank i know, but i think i'll have to go check it out, so don't make choose, it's not fair, just don't do it to me!
  5. RB20DET auto and manual ones are different, i got mine directly from Nissan, didn't cost a great deal. Getting the old one out was a real bastard job though, thankfully RowdyR32 did it for me, like the majority of the work on my engine swap! If you haven't got it out already and have dramas I got given plenty of good help/suggestions here: http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/in...showtopic=55955
  6. This may seem like the a silly question at first, but humour me... Despite these low readings does the car feel any different to drive (i.e. sluggish) ??? If not then it could just be a problem with the gauge, i once caused a kink in the hard plastic line under my dash while sorting out some wiring, all my manifold pressure readings were low and had me real worried til i worked it out. It was badly kinked, so straightening it out again only partially helped, so i cut the affected area out and re-joined it with some silicon hose.
  7. Start an EOI thread, i missed the last one unfortunately, I'd be up for it.
  8. I reckon i might be, TTP is just up the road, any other feloow SAU-ers?
  9. Old URL Format: http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/sh...ead.php?t=78475 New URL Format: http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/in...showtopic=78475 Can you either force it to use the old URL format, or set it up so both work, that way all the posts that say "see this thread" etc. will work again. Cheers, - Ash.
  10. Puts my stuff to shame, there's some good shots here: http://www.users.on.net/~sharms/rallysa/
  11. Spotted: Silver R32 Sedan missing its front bar, was on the back on a flatbed turning in to Mullers Rd (Hampstead Gardens), possibly heading to Tilbrooks or one of the repairers around there?
  12. Bummer, shame we missed you, who are you with, as I had pretty reasonable coverage from Telstra GSM at the track?
  13. Pics in this thread: http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/in...showtopic=83316 Add more if you have them...
  14. Was up at the rally on Sat with a couple of fellow SAU-ers and took a few shots, here they are for your viewing pleasure...
  15. You're welcome mate, any time, and thanks too for the 8-Ball Andrew. I had a good day, well worth it, and I should have some pictures up soonish...
  16. Okay this is my last message before i knock-off work and start drinking beer Remember to pack some warm clothes, BOM has tm as "Min 6 Max 16 Fine. Mostly sunny" for Adelaide, so hopefully it wont rain. See you all at 8:00AM at the location i PM'd you.
  17. PM's sent to Deluxe, Boof, Nozila, and Sambo33.
  18. Nozila, Sambo33, Deluxe, and Boof haven't been active since teh forum change, all my email notifications and old links stopped working so they may not know what's going on. I have Sam & Duc 's mobile ph. no. 's so i can get in touch with them and pass on the details no worries, but it's the other two I'm worried about. I'll PM them all regardless but if anyone has alternative ways to contact them could you please pass on the info? Cheers, - Ash.
  19. I'll PM you both my mobile number so you can get in touch once we arrive if you can't make it to the meet spot in time.
  20. Okay, based on the poll in the other thread we've settled on Saturday for the day, the meet point will be the regular place in the North East, but I'll send out PMs on Friday to all those who've posted in here thus far (if you've been lurking then make yourself known now so i can message you). As for a time, the Rally action starts at 8:30AM, it'll take ~1hr to drive there (maybe more if we get stuck in traffic?) plus: parking, getting the shuttle bus, buying tickets, finding a good spot, etc. So I say, the earlier the better, i know i originally threw around 9:00AM but unless people are particularly against: 8:00AM Meet, 8:15AM Depart.
  21. http://www.rallyofsa.com.au/Forties1.html - has a map of the viewing areas, there's a spot in the middle between the two hairpins of the Forties and Ridgetops stages, is that it? Anyways i hope everyone else found their way back to this thread since my old link wasn't working with this new forum migration.
  22. Well looks like things are leaning towards Sat as is...
  23. I measured one up just recently and as best as i can tell their too big in every dimension. You might be able to chop the shroud down to fit in height and width but it'll be touch and go for detpth. I just wanted to get my car back on the road to as soon as I saw it wasn't going to be a simple operation i bailed.
