  1. If you'd like a link that works: http://users.net2000.com.au/~mrwhite/carna...own_carnage.mov
  2. Okay, it's $10 to get in the gate, $70 (total) to compete.
  3. Anyone going to Mallala to drift or spectate this Saturday's evening session? I was planning to take my car out there but it's not back on the road yet (maybe tonight) and even if it was I'd like to get a couple of week's use out of it before i attempt to kill it again! David *MIGHT* be taking his 180SX out depending on other commitments, I'm not sure what, if anything, it costs to watch.
  4. No he asked if the Radiator was Auto or Manual, the auto radiator has two extra hose barbs on the bottom tank to take auto fluid for cooling. Easiest to take a picture of it and you can see immediately.
  5. Sh!t buddy, you really did a number on it hey?! To make images appear on screen use the IMG tag i.e. {img}http://img83.echo.cx/img83/6190/sky19of.jpg{/img} replace { or } with [ or ]
  6. Got my car dyno'd there a little while ago, just a power run so ican't comment on tuning, but they did seem like a good bunch. Very much down to earth as you said.
  7. No, they're a different width and different shape around the tail-lights.
  8. Yeah Koyo are supposed to be pretty much atleast as good as the originals.
  9. Just went to pick it up and it was the wrong one, guy did some more ringing around and found the right one for $439, but there's a question makr over availability. Some Nissan diesel has the same top and bottom tanks but the core is too tall, might be able to make some Franken-Rad, just waiting for a call back. Just thru a local radiator mob, Burton Radiators, pretty helpful so far but we'll see how it goes.
  10. I'd like to come but I'm not sure I'll be able to make it. If i don't make a comitment to it by the end of the day I have Will's mobile and will call him directly on the weekend to see if there's still space to tag along. Cheers, - Ash.
  11. Get back to work! Hmmm... maybe i should do too, gotta pay for this new radiator some how. Did you know the criminals at Nissan wanted $962! Managed to source one for $359 which is just a BIT more reasonable.
  12. Rubber mount up top had perished, I accelerated hard, radiator fell on to the fan and crunch! On stuffed rad, called Nissan and they wanted $962 for a new one, I can't see much point in a 2nd hand one, so i rang around some more and found and aftermarket one for $359 which is far more reasonable. Gotta fix that mount too so it doesn't happen again.
  13. I think you're getting confused with the air-con heat exchanger, it sits directly in front of the radiator and looks a lot like it, I killed my rad last weekand pulled it out (found that half of teh shroud that unclips down the bottom) and it really is a simple exercise to remove. Now i need to find a replacement radiator, i'd rather a new one, but might have to settle for second hand.
  14. Hey fellas, for those interested I found out what happened with my radiator, I've got some pics at home but I'll just describe it. Basically one of the rubber mounts up top that holds the rad in place has perished, when I accelerated hard the radiator fell backwards, and in to my fan. It's put a nice circular mark in it and tore about a dozen rows away from the top tank. Hence the fact water came gushing out of it! Now that I'm back in Adelaide I need to go find a replacement, for the rad and rubbers, I'll be doing the ring around today/tomorroe but any suggestions of where to go are most welcome. And thanks once more IceDuck, your RAA+ really saved my arse (and wallet), you're a top guy and I hope to see you round at more meets.
  15. This'll be the last time i post before tonight so if anyone reads this and want to meet up at mine before hand, get in touch with Andrew or Duc, if you know them and they vouch for you, then I guess you're alright and I'm happy for them to pass on my details. See some of you tonight. Cheers, - Ash.
  16. I don't mind, but considering Holden Hill cop shop is 1 minute up the road, self-preservation might stop you from doing it.
  17. Yeah I'll be taking my car. PMs sent to Nozila and IceDuck. Just to warn you all parkings pretty shit at mine, first 1 or 2 in will score the drive way (no one run over my water main! ) and the rest will be stuck parking on Sudholz Rd. If you don't wanna park on the main road then take the left just before my place, thinks it's Palmerston Rd or something like that, you can see it on the link i sent you.
  18. Okay David's bailed on me but I'll PM my details to you guys. Rock around any time from 6:30pm onwards I'll be home. Anyone else feel free to get in touch.
  19. Just a note on patents, they cost a LOT to register, and even more to defend. Something tells me neither margins nor volumes involved here would make it worthwhile.
  20. It's just a classic case of "engrish", literal translations from Japanese to English just don't work, have a look at www.engrish.com there's so many classics on it.
  21. Here's some pretty tasteless Schapelle Corby jokes doing the rounds: * I was eating dinner in the city tonight and I walked past Schapelle Corby's beauty salon. It had a sign on the door, "Back in 20". * Did you hear that Victa has released a new model of lawnmower? Its called the Victa "Corby", it holds 4Kg of grass and comes with a 20 year warranty. * After being convicted Schapelle Corby was handed the death penalty by stoning, so she said, "Give me back my bag and a lighter, I'll do it myself". * Have you heard of the new fragrance called CONVICTION? It's by Schapelle and lasts for 20 years.
  22. I looked my keys in the boot of my old VP Commo, the car itself was unlocked but my sub box was blocking up the ski port so I couldn't climb thru from the back seat, ended up locking the rest of the car, catching the bus home to get the spare keys, and back again.
  23. I made a post in this thread in the SA events section here: Ns.com Megacruise #3 - This Friday 7:30pm so perhaps we should take the discussion there?
  24. Been chatting about this in another thread so I'll post it here too: "I live 5 mins south of Ingle Farm on Sudholz Rd, and my mate David (with 180SX from Sat's SAU cruise) will be meeting up at my place before hand, if IceDuck or anyone else on SAU wanna drop by mine then head up together you're most welcome." Call it a "mini-cruise", just a way of getting the SAU-ers together amongst the sea of mis-guided souls that frequent other inferior forums.
