  1. So i we can order 1 @ $400 price and not have to wait for another 5 people to get onboard? Hmmm tempting...
  2. So wait a sec, this ISN'T a group buy any more?
  3. I know, i know all this, but..... I guess since it's just up the road from my place I'll drop by the meet point and assess things from there.
  4. I know the general feeling towards NS.com around here but is anyone going to this?
  5. Forum rules state you MUST put up prices. Edit: At least they used to, can't seem to find that sticky, oh well...
  6. Perhaps from the cat-back they might be the same, but certainly not from the turbo back, for obvious reasons...
  7. Nice work Andrew. Go RB powah!
  8. Sorry I couldn't make it, I f**king ran over our mains and created a water feature in our front yard :headspin:, a brain fart on my count but I'd still like to meet the d!ckhead who put in partially IN the driveway!
  9. Duc, expect a call, any PM you send me now i wont get till Monday. Seeya on Sat.
  10. Exactly, the stock cooler is designed to handle the low % of time spent on boost in city driving or highway cruising, sustained load such as a very long steep hill or track racing and it's well out of it's depth.
  11. No worries, i don't have carte blanche on the printer, but a couple dozen print outs isn't going to get anyone's back up. Edit: Thought I'd pre-empt you and add the link.
  12. I have an '89 GTST with a Consult plug, which i know works just fine, BUT i think mine is an October '89.
  13. Duc, if you want to send me a copy of the directions (provided you trust I wont pass them on to the authorities ) then i'll run up a bunch of copies at work and bring them on the day.
  14. This should give you an idea on CA18DET pricing, complete package for $1000, shame it's in QLD. http://www.nissansilvia.com/forums/index.p...showtopic=93119
  15. Well I've done some limited stuffing around but couldn't be botehred with what seems like a temporary solution which is why I'm gonna pick up some SplitFires. There's a group by in my sig, $640 which might not be as cheap as Nengun (only if you manage to dodge GST and customs), but that's a guaranteed price to my door. I don't mind paying $40 for the piece of mind.
  16. Shit that's right, i forgot you need to unbolt the fan, that's what i was thinking of whne blathering about shroud and rad in one piece, need the fan in there too!
  17. Very interesting, I'm glad this particular record is broken because I hadn't come across a previous playing, something to think about after I get my fronts rebuilt. I have a feeling i wont want to go back to the bone-jarrers after cruising around on stock susp. for a couple of weeks.
  18. Yeap, radiator comes out pretty easy, just remember to slide it and the fan shroud on at the same time when you put it back, if you bolt the rad in then attempt to put the shroud back on you'll have a hell of a time clearing the fan and not bashing up your rad.
  19. Try using a hair dryer to heat it up and soften the glue behind it and see if you can peel it off then.
  20. Ummm... yeah, yeah i did, sorry have a :bananaman to make you feel better!
  21. Unfortunately most of them wont show your speed over a certain amount these days, there's a couple on the Freeway in Vic but if you do >107kph the say "Too Fast! Slow Down!".
  22. Mine's NEVER gone higher than about 90 odd degrees on a hot day, admittedly it wasn't uber- stop/start but it wasn't all cruising either, except when i left some hose to do with the heater disconnected so when i switched it on i lost half my water and got things a little toasty but nothing drastic before i sorted it out.
