  1. It'll be PM'd closer to the date, and if we change spots there's not much point sending you that one is there? Don't worry you wont get left out of the loop, they're a welcoming bunc this lot, they're even civil to me and I'm a Victorian!
  2. For peace of mind a good alternative is hooking up a water-spray to your stock cooler.
  3. I'm in! I'll see if David and his 180SX are in too. Saturday or Sunday, early arvo, are the best times IMHO. The regular meet spot suits me down to a tee but I'm flexible.
  4. Yeah my Sedan has a different (non M) front bar, but it has M brakes, which i think is the more important feature!
  5. Bits and pieces, see http://dictionary.reference.com/search?q=paraphernalia
  6. Nothing overt, and certainly nothing compared to what I gained in spades running my EBC @ 12 psi, which i wouldn't have been confortable doing without the FMIC.
  7. Perhaps we should pull a pack together, as you can see it has the Playboy stick up back, also had pink Playboy seat and steering wheel covers along with a lot of other paraphernalia!
  8. You can get a basic setup in it in no time at all. Start conservatively and wind it up bit by bit, then you can work on ironing out the "bumps" as you drive it around.
  9. Here's some pics of mine while i was putting it in, nothing revolutionary, it's a Horse Power In a Box item, came with Alloy piping all ready to roll, it does mount the cooler quite far forward and the piping on the LHS esp. sticks out a bit. As for the hole, I bought a couple dollar hole cutter from Bunnings, and since it was made for wood destroyed it in the process but it did the job. Then i used a hammer to widen it, beating a lip over it at the same time, finsihed it with a bit of black spray paint on the exposed metal to stop corrosion. I then painted the top pipe black, and the ned pipes Blue to match the front bar, all up it looks pretty neat. Edit: Oh and the front bar support was already chopped out, personally i wouldn't have bothered. And i know it's wonky, these are the "in progress" shots, now it's my front bar that's a bit off, the cooler is plenty straight.
  10. Yeap, this'll be a weekend job for me, known i should do it for a while.
  11. So you're happy with it for the money?
  12. It's not raining @ Tech Park, fair bit of cloud but it's mild and pleasant outside, with forcost top of.... who knows?
  13. Please, give me some credit!
  14. Perhaps he should have included these tags around that part of his post: [sARCASM][/sARCASM] Rowdy, if you email me some pictures, I'll resize them etc. and put them up for you. Just DON'T send them to my hotmail account, use the GMAIL one i sent you the other month (PM me if you need it again).
  15. - Discovered in the Mawson Lakes' shopping centre car park today.

  17. Or for the terminally stupid and a hater of gearboxes, put it in Neutral rev the hell out of it (try to get it valve bouncing) and slam it in to Drive!
  18. I'm sure Will has more intricate technique, but to get you started... left foot on the brake, get the revs up on the stall converter and bounce it a bit, then when you're ready, let go of the stop peddle and slam down the go peddle! Ah the joys of Commo driving!
  19. True, and postage isn't so exorbitant to needing worrying about saving on 2 trips versus 4. Thanks for the insight.
  20. Now i need to decide whether to send just the front two that are leaking or all four to at least give the rears a freshen up...
  21. Yeah i figure it can't be too different to rebuilding motorbike shocks and plenty of places to that, but that QLD joint has the rep, so it sounds best to go with them. Now i just have to wait for my stock suspension to get sent over from Mleb (i brought just about everything else with me damnit).
  22. You guys are tragic!
  23. Will you might like to check this out: http://www.body-works.co.nz/profiles/ben.html Seems the S12 RSX came factory fitted with an FJ20ET, perhaps engine's your best bet, and the person on that website is "Ben D" on these forums. Maybe send him a PM?
  24. Yes, tell a lie, I believe Rowdy's and mine are the diff. He got his "serviced", which seemed like an expensive fluid change on hindsight, and which did exactly SFA on the noise front. I rarely hear mine over my exhaust anyway so it doesn't bother me.
  25. Yeah i saw that in your earlier posts, and intend to do the same, one day. But it works atm and i have more pressing things that need fixing on the car.
