Can I play too
I've now got 2 silver R33 4 doors
You haven't got the 2nd one down here yet!
But sure, i don't mind if you come play.
-
If you get a Stagea and drive sensibly i can't see their being much chance of you being hassled.
-
I've done it the way you told me, didn't work
I'll try changing the size of the vent to .5 and give that a go. Will .5 be the right size for upto 30psi of boost? I've got a Turbosmart bleed vale on their atm with the 21psi spring and it works fine.
Is their any other possible way to hook it up?
Thanks again
Nathan
Try the smaller vent, but you COULD use it like the more common EBC setups with the solenoid on the vent.
Note: the solenoid duty cycle figures will be reveresed for the same result, i.e. 0% (full closed) = standard boost, 100% (full open) = moer boost and the vent shouldn't be restricted in that case.
And you wont get as rapid boost build up and defence against creep.

Yeap good night all round, thanks Andrew for organising it, Matty for the post-event drinking venue, and Will for playing taxi driver (love that LS1 grunt) so more of us could

Cool, well I'm gonna be at the SVD dyno day tm morning and teh SAU meet in the evening. Otherwise PM me next time there's a 4 door gathering happening!oosh ive seen your car around man... we must catchup sometime n chat 4 doors! Can't believe how many 4drs there are in Adelaide compared to Melb, it's amazing.
-
Yeah it's to use with non-standard solenoid setups, it's mentioned in the doco, if not the dodgy photocopies then certainly in the book.Has any one had a Left over 10w 10RJ Ceramic Resistor ? I'm unable to find it on the Diagram ? And the thing is about 6cm long.. So i'm not sure where it goes ? -
i have a buddyclub turbo back exhaust on my 4 door...
now obviously buddyclub did not make an exhaust specific for the 4 door 32...
heres a pic of my exhaust to show you where it sits

Well case closed, they must fit, and Adz that must be one bloody loud exhaust.

There's other things such as warranty and insurance to consider.

LOL those pics are great!
I may be living in Adelaide right now, and it aint THAT bad a joint (REALLY!), but I'll always be a Vic!
-
gtrGhosTDoGG11 and I are teeing something up this Sat after the SVD dyno day, it's looking promising, but if it falls through I'll be in touch Matt.

Hi Ash,
I've got stock R32 GTR rims on one of my GTRs atm but have R34 GTR rims waiting to go on. The car is still in the compliance process and I want it to pass Regency before changing them. I can't give you an exact date but it will be a least a few weeks. If you're interested let me know and I'll keep you updated.
Sorry I'm only after GTST rims, I should have put it in my post, I have updated it now.

The chassis IS the same but the sedans are longer from boot to tip.
SEDAN COUPE ------------------ ------------------ Exterior dimensions (LxWxH), mm 4580 x 1695 x 1340 4530 x 1695 x 1325 Interior dimensions (LxWxH), mm 1850 x 1400 x 1105 1805 x 1400 x 1090 Wheel base, mm 2615 2615 Treads (F/R), mm 1460 / 1460 1460 / 1460 Ground clearance, mm 145 145 Curb vehicle weight, kg 1290 1260
I guess the arse just hangs over a little more, so it stands to reason the exhaust would have to be that little bit longer.

Hey guys
Ive just noticed something on the IEBC pcb thats a bit confusing, the small link link5 is shown in the wrong position on the printed circuit board... Make sure you follow the overlay diagram not the picture and not whats printed on the pcb.
The link5 is printed in the position it needs to be in for the DPA kit, not the boost controller kit.
Yeah, i made mention of this earlier in the thread...
**IEBC**2. Watch out for LK5 (Link 5), if you blindly follow the silk-screening (like i did) you will connect it the wrong way around (to -ve instead of +ve), read and re-read all the documentation.

NO LONGER NEEDED.
- Sourced a pair from Ghostdog, cheers.
Anyone have a set (or just a pair) they want to get rid of cheap?
Edit: R32/33 GTST only, not GTR.
Condition unimportant so long as they're round and have no major damage to the lip.
Not fussed about rubber but we can discuss prices accordingly if they still have life in them.
Cheers.

The dump pipe will bolt up to the turbo, the flange pattern is the same, but I'm not sure about engine bay clearance.
Based on stuff BATMBL (i keep pimping this guy for some reason) sells I'd say it'd work. See this thread and weblink within it: http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/sh...&highlight=dump

What's a S15 turbo worth?
Always thought they might be the go on my RB20, since I'm not chasing big numbers, just something that'll boost some more reliably and respond quickly.
-
Could we get some pics and dimensions?
Cheers.

Everythings pretty much the same, esp. in the front, I know from experience FMIC kits fit, and front bars swap. The rear is different (apart from obviously 2 extra doors), rear bars, lights, boot, spoiler all different, and the car IS marginally longer.
Mine already came with a 3" system, but I say just find a good exhaust shop and get them to make you something up, go a pre-fabbed dump & front pipe (maybe something like BATMBL sells) and a name-brand muffler, then get them to join it all up.
If you're looking to pick somethng up second hand then just take it to get lengthened where necessary.

Silver it was...

i didnt look at the first post to see the update, it just seemed that alot of people was posting they would come and the fact that they would bring xxxx people along made me think that there was enough. Either way, my gf just read the post and insisted that she also wanted to go - shes never been go-karting, so put me down as 2.
Good work Duc, your missus has the right idea, see you and her on Sat!
-
since its all booked and there seems to be more than enough of people doing plus the fact that im a maybe, you guys/girls have fun.
Poor excuse mate, I count 22, doubtless people WILL bail on the day, and failing that you can at least come to the meet/diner earlier on to say hello.
Cummon yah bum you missed the Port Elliot cruise!
-
I was great.
Modest too!
-
Figure I'll at least come to check it out, might run, but probably not (just had one recently and not really made any changes in setup).
Gonna be quite the "car day" with SAU Go-Karts in the evening!
Cheers,
- Ash.
