  1. Spotted a tough-looking Red Stagea parked up in Nth Adl near the Women's & Children's Hospital this morning.
  2. I dunno how long you've been away but PJ's is for the desperate and dateless, it's a meat market, and only survives because it's usually the last place open and they let anyone in. IMHO if you're anything less than blind when you go there you've got problems. But all that of course is just my very humble opinion. So fellas, my birthday is a 26th in Prospect, whatchu got?
  3. Hahaha PJ's, sorry, but what a shit-hole... Not that it'll effect me none, I've got a birthday on Sat, why not try somewhere like the Elephant? Just anywhere but PJ's really.
  4. From what i read on the biki forums, RB20DET and RB26DETT can be done with an additional EPROM harness, but it's low on his list of priorities. The R33 RB25DET is supposedly very difficult, if not impossible, for some reason or other. I like what he's trying to do, but from his posts his development seems haphazard, and being one man he can only do so much. He's all for including "cool" new features, but oft before bedding down the existing ones, there's a lot of bugs and updates so you'd have to be prepared to constantly fiddle around for it. i.e. If you're a confident DIY-er, give it a shot, if you want a plug-n-play, drive in and drive away, I'd be very wary indeed. My 2c. All that said if I had a R34 I'd be sorely tempted.
  5. Says R34 is supported. http://www.bikirom.com/Products.php
  6. I'm planning on hooking my thermo fan up to this, so I tested the on/off temps last night (via CONSULT), so for the record on my R32: *** The fan switches on at 91C with a 3C hysteresis (i.e. off again at 88C). ***
  7. I'm interested, despite Null voting by accident, and $200-300 is fine.
  8. That would be cam gears under the cam gear cover. Pulleys are indeed visible, although the fan and shroud obscures much of them, unless you run a thermo of course. But as Ryan basically said, don't bother, if you're serious get a lightened flywheel. Light rims will make a difference too.
  9. Tandem yeah, so I'll just be a large piece of luggage, but I'm certainly looking forward to it! I was supposed to do it last Sunday, but the weather wasn't good enough, and the only time we could reschedule the whole group was for 4 weeks. So i get the anticipation all over again...
  10. Aerial photo. The darker area is the strip yeah, and runs from right to left? Looks like there's plenty of room further left to me...
  11. Woodville bowl is (Port Rd) is good, refurbished since the fire, and about 1/3 their lanes are in a separate (and most importantly) licensed area. 23/24 is good for me, but not the 25th I'm skydiving.
  12. I don't know the layout that well, but based on a map pic, I can't see why not. http://web.archive.org/web/20041208141249/...et/circuit.html
  13. Ok, my turn. Fishing - But land based is pretty shit-house over here (unless you like crabs) so if anyone needs a seat warming on those boats let me know. Camping - Been a while. Home Brew - Time for a new batch soon, been 6+ months, and if anyone wants some fresh hops lemme know I have kilos of the shit. Gaming - In fits and starts, few weeks intense, few months off. Aquariums - Just bought one before Christmas and am enjoying it. Motorbikes - Not yet, but planning on getting my license this year.

    Found R33

I'm assuming you reported it? The authorities will ID the owner via the VIN and let them know soon enough. What a shame.
  15. Best disconnect the injector loom, no point spraying fuel about for no good reason, what else could go wrong? Well you could drop a bolt down the spark plug hole, but that's easy fixed with a magnetic pick, everyone who doesn't own one, buy it now, they cost nothing and you'll wonder how you survived without. The above leads to this, make sure you clean out any crap around the plugs before removing them, a good blow (teehee) should sort it. Ummm... try not to cross-thread any bolts (incl. sparkies) when putting them it back in, always tighten with your figures first, then the ratchet. Yes, rockers stay, only the valley cover needs to be off, the cross pipes can even stay if you have some extensions and uni-joints, it's fiddly but has worked the last few times I've changed spark-plugs and/or coils.
  16. Mate had a video of some bloke who'd used, to his detriment, LPG as refrigerant! Btw Cubes who'd you use as I've really gotta get mine seen to?
  17. Why you taking the rocker cover off? I'm assuming you mean the valley cover, mine hasn't been on for the last 2 years. And NEOs well they've got that lovely plastic turtle shell too. Also when does time equate to difficulty, I never said it was necessarily quick, who cares if it takes him an hour or even 2? This isn't a WRC service stop.
  18. Your S14 tow bar doesn't fit a S14?
  19. It's piss easy if you can change spark plugs you can do it, and tool aint too expensive, just grab one from Super Cheap.
  20. Kralster and your mate could always swap.
  21. I had an IRS VP, but only with the lowly Buick engine, and didn't have single problem with that aspect of it. The steering and gearbox were another story though...
  22. Sounds like more trouble than it's worth, and you've gotta look after yourself first and foremost, the sooner you let him know the sooner he can make other arrangements.
  23. I'm sorry to hear that Andrew, it's actually the first time I met him, but I knew a couple others on that table.
  24. Good day all round, great to catch up with those in attendance, what time did the rest of you head after Julie and I disappeared around 8?
  25. Even if you can see it, it's pretty hard to tell the internal condition of a gbox, unless of course you could open it up but find me a wrecker that'll let you do that. Just have to hope they'll honour the very much limited warranty they offer. At the end of the day it's a bit of a lottery what ever you do. P.S. Cubes. Yeah, just must be my failing eye-sight.
