  1. Does anyone know of a company in japan who sell's front clips? Want to start buying JDM honda B16a2's and B18c1/5's but need to find some one reliable in japan as Im currently buying from Canada to ship to the UK Any info is appritiated!
  2. Ive got 2 cosworth engines in my garage! never even thought of it, nice one. Maybe the RB isnt worth the hastle, either the sr20 or cosworth are worth considering. I can get a rover V8 with a set of blowers for next to nothin, but after tryin the last v8 swap im not sure i can be bothered with the head ache, and it handles like a hippo on ice skates.......................
  3. Why? because im bored! Were I work we have done a V8, and it was extremly long winded and we ballsed it up! Ive read up on the Bullet mx5, alloy space frame ect and cost 5-4 times as much as a new car. Just lookin to do somethin different, Ive had turbo's and ive got my R32, so this is just for fun and probably wont be finished till late nxt year! If they can get one to handle with a Alloy V8, then why would it be any different with the RB? What about the lexus 2.5 twin turbo?...................................................
  4. RITE.......................! Need some "sensible" advice on wich engine to use. Plan is I have an 2001 model MX5 on the way, lots of front end damage, but nothin I cant sort out. At first I was planning to put a chevy 350 short block in there, but after the last one i ballsed up, im not gana bother! Choices are, Fairly standard sr20 or Rb25de with performance throttel bodies conversion, high lift cams and mappable ecu upgrade. Both engines are the same money, but wich will perform better? not usin the car sor drag or drift or anythin, just a fast as fcuk street racer. Always wanted a 2 seater monster, had an mr2 and cant afford a TVR so this is totaly my own thing. Susspension setup is sorted one the engine is finished so the extra weight will be counter acted with the susspension package. Another concern is the reliability of the engines, SR20 is prone to bottem end nock, expensive to upgrade, and the extra heat of the turbo and fitting of the intercooler could make life extremly difficult. RB25de is slightly bigger (understatement) and weighs more, but the upgrades i have on the shelf and I dont have the problem of the heat and intercooler, plus a 50bhp shot on Nos will see it fly! Or would I be better of with throttel bodies on the SR20? better low end torque is a must in this project, Ive had turbo's and i have an RB30 R32 project on the go so this is purely for fun! Any suggestions welcome!
  5. Anyone seen, heard off or done it???????? R32 dash looks dated as F#*k so while the cars in pieces, I may as well upgrade it! I understand the door cards wont fit but im thinkin about loosing them for a cut piece of carbon. Ive also got a full roll cage with door bars coming so once the dash is fitted, space needs to be allowed for the cage so it wont have to be exat! Seen it done on an S13 but what else will in need? will I be able to use the R32 loom or will I have to splice the S15 loom in to mine? Will I be able to use the S15 dials? Ive got an RB30 goin in and RB25 gear box so will it all work together with S15 dials or am I going to have to modify R33 dials into there to! Any help appritiated!
  6. Well thats one way i suppose! I havent got the facitlities to make the kit or replicate it, but i can make a gtr kit fit! unless i get some gtr rear quarters and have them pannel beated and the same on the front?
  7. sorry, didnt mean to affend, just not my taste! I love the veiolside kit, and i can make it fit! anyone no were i can get a copy, or a different wide arch kit, gtr or gts????????????????

  9. RITE............#! Im lookin for a wide arch kit for my R32 gts, I love the fatter rear arches on the 32gtr but want to fatten mine up front and rear, kinda like this one, any ideas on were to get the kit?
  10. hi, im based in the UK and run a company called 0-60 performance parts ltd. im currently lloking for a repratable supplier who would be able to supply me with JDM apexi/hks/greddy ect parts at resonable rates. my current supplier is slow and over priced so im just testin the water! if any one knows of any suppliers please dont hesatate to contact me. must have good references and be able to supply bulk orders! thanks Chris
  11. first of, wat size intercooler core would i need for an R32 gtst with an RB30 lookin at 500bhp? if i get the core i will then have end tanks made to suit, unless anyone knows where i can buy a cooler to suit? bar and plate prefferably. 2. ive got an RB25det gear box to suit the RB30. it needs to go into the R23 gtst. ive read i need an s14 support fran/cross member but will the rear prop/tail prop fit and if not wat will? thanks!
  12. If im using an RB25DET gear box ect in my R32gtst with an RB30 conversion, wat speedo set up would i use? R33 gauge cluster and speedo unit ? bearing in mind i need mine converted to MPH

  14. Just readin through. im puttin an RB30dett in my 32gtst, am i gana have any problems closing the bonnet with the 26 head on it? got a GTR bonnet 2

  17. what sort of comp ratio is gona be best? as above, using standard, prepped internals, need to no what size gasket to use. lookin to run about 1.5bar, 550cc injectors, microtech ecu and do away with afms, may be a set of pom cams and adjustable pullies? antone no what software the microtech uses, and wat contest there is between the power fc?

I havnt got much experience with the RB30 setup, in fact i have none! but how would you go about achieving 450bhp from an RB30 using a RB26 head with a twin setup? gona be using a set of standard R33 tubbys and upgrade to 2530's in about 6months., and will ne using standard prepped pistons, rods ect. any suggestions welcome!
  19. Wouldnt it be a cheaper optin to build an RB30dett like i am? extra 400cc, stock internals, gtr head loom ecu cet and half the price (long engine)
  20. GTR Ben, out of interest how much has the RB30/26 cost u minus the tubby? is that a custom manifold? got loads of question is u got the time as im tryin to source the parts for my conversion, not sure wether to go tt ot T? wich loom and ecu are u plannin on usin?
