interesting. That drivers seat is pretty worn for such a tiny amount of k's! 6.5 Mill yen is not completely outrageous, but probably a little steep. However i suspect that it is worth all of a 5 mill yen price tag. That front lip needs to be painted 326 crystal white! Remove those stupid V Spec II N1 badges (particularly since it is not a V Spec II) from the back boot, take out that stereo and replace those rubbish tyres. Aside from that, over all it looks like a clean original V Spec N1.

Probably best Chef is the one that discusses this. I dont want to get anything wrong. I was just reiterating what he posted on FB. However, my understanding was that the bid at auction went up to what would be $43,100 on the road in Australia (including all of Chefs costs), and Chef can negotiate on your behalf with the owner at around $70k on the road in Australia (including all of chefs costs). The owner is the one that would not accept the low bid price at auction.

I mentioned under these photos on FB that Iron Chef posted, that i would expect this to go to auction and get about 5 mill yen. However, the bid didnt get that high and was passed in at about $43,100 landed and complied. Chef was saying that negotiations to buy post auctions start at about $70k AUD landed and complied into Aussie. Rarity is not cheap!

If you could, that would be awesome. TO be honest, i have no faith in anything that i have ever read online re what R32 N1s actually came with over and above a stock GTR. There are so many keyboard cowboys that shoot their mouth off all over the place about the specs of R32 N1s, its really hard to tell the real, from the rubbish. So i would be absolutely stoked if i could get something concrete from Nissan re my individual chassis number, that would be amazing.

Wow Blur if i give you my chassis number, are you able to tell me the specifics of my internals and if they differ from standard R32 GTRs? If so that would be amazing!!

Yop. I have an R32 track car. Bought it for $10k as an unregistered car in NZ. Was actually pretty sweet, coil overs, exhaust, filters, boost controller, bolt in cage and other simple mods. Thought for 10k is would be a sweet track car. Have probably spent an additional $30k on it so far. It is still breaking down and a pain in the ass. However, When it runs right, it is a sensational amount of fun. I think that the thing that you need to keep in mind, is street cars are not designed to be race cars. If you take any street car, run it on slicks or semis, double its power and run it at max rpm and load for extended periods of time, it will break. That includes everything. The advice i would give anyone wanting to do a fun R32 GTR track day car, is do it once and do it right. Dont mess around with half measures, OEM parts, chinese parts or entry level japanese parts. Get the good stuff. Unfortunately i have learnt this the hard way.

Did nismos not come with the nismo Le Mans turbos? Which are larger than standard r32 turbos and smaller than N1 turbos? FYI, R32 n1s didn't come with full N1 engines like most people think. Without stripping mine down I can't tell you exactly what they have and don't have piece by piece. But they certainly don't have a 24u N1 block. They do have large and very laggy turbos, and run a standard 0.8bar boost from the factory. However they are designed to run with an after market computer and run much higher boost in group N racing. Super interesting that someone has painted a limited edition nismo r32 white! Must basically look like an N1 now.

Hey bob. Any chance you could scan and attach each of those brochures on here. That would be amazing information to have, even in PDF form!

Hey guys. Does anyone know (or know how to find) the Nissan part number number for the large spark plug cover badge that says NISSAN Twin Cam 24 Valve for an r32 RB26DEtt? I removed mine to get the cam covers and spark plug covers painted. Rather than reaply the old one, is like to get a new one. Cheers.

Here is one for sale in Japan. I believe it is approx 4-5mill yen ex the dealer in Japan. http://ucar.carview.yahoo.co.jp/model/nissan/skyline-gtr/CU0003514755/

Read through the first page of this mate. http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/topic/416450-r32-gt-r-v-spec-v-spec-ii-register-inc-n1-v-spec-v-spec-ii-models/ Unlike the nismos, the N1s are not all consecutive numbers. However the model code will signify an N1 with a ZN at the end of the model code.

N1, Vspec R32 Gtr, How Many Are In The Country?
R32N1 replied to West's topic in R Series (R30, R31, R32, R33, R34)
Believe that this is 4-5mill yen. Not stock, which reduces some of its value and it also has had the speedo changed. So you really have no idea how many k's its done. http://ucar.carview.yahoo.co.jp/model/nissan/skyline-gtr/CU0003514755/ -
R32 Gtr 600Hp Mod List, Complete?
R32N1 replied to silvianc's topic in R Series (R30, R31, R32, R33, R34)
I would suggest that on the dyno, your fuel system will probably pass. However if you intend to do any track work, you will need a surge tank. I use a 500lph walbro as a lift pump and a bosch 044 from the surge tank to the engine. -
I have owned 3 r32 gtr's. one of the truest things I ever read before buying my first one was ' Just because you can afford to buy a GTR, does not mean you can afford to own one!'. The next best piece of advice, 'get the cleanest, best condition possible'. Every cent you save on the purchase price, will likely cost three times as much in repairs and getting it to a good condition. DON'T buy the first cheap one that comes along. Wait and shop smart. I searched for two years to get my first. The more modified it is, the more likely you will have issues. An r32 GTR is not a practical daily. It is possible, but you need to have a fairly healthy desposible income to be able to maintain it as such. My two cents

Thats interesting NISMO. I dyno'd my R32 N1, completely stock in everyway, including exhaust, airbox, ECU and boost. On the 4 wheel hub dyno it ran 180kw at all 4 wheels @ 0.8 bar boost. Which is pretty much exactly what it is supposed to be as per the factory spec. The most interesting thing is that the car didnt make full boost until about 5,200rpm. Which makes sense as they are N1 a/r 0.64 turbos. My assumption is that they are designed to be running much higher than the stock 0.8 bar, but restricted them to that to meet the 206kw gentlemans agreed power limit. Even though it is not running huge dyno numbers, and it doesnt make max boost until 5,200 rpm, it is still quite a bit quicker around my local track than my previous stock R32 GTR. So that is sweet.
