I'm in Melbourne mate. Can you please PM me a price? I've found that if i hold the button up (while window is up) then quickly press down quite firmly it works, but i can't be stuffed doing that EVERY time. Makes me think it must be the contact points.

Hey guys, I did a quick search, but didn't find anything too helpful. My driver's side window switch is stuffed, and i can't put the window down without jiggling and forcing the button. Even then it rarely works. Once the window is down, the switch works fine, i can raise it fully or to a selected height, but not back down again. Passenger side - no problems. This is driving me crazy! I had my mechanic look at it, he said he sprayed it with some solution that is very good for cleaning contact points, but no luck. I don't particularly want to fork out the $200 the wreckers wanted for a second hand unit. Anybody got any ideas? or a spare unit for sale? Any help would be much appreciated! Cheers

I think the reason nothing is springing to mind for me is that I haven't ever seen a sticker over a back windscreen that looks good. If i was going to put a workshop sticker on, I'd want at least some sort of free service from them for advertising! Paul's got the right idea

I think I read a while back that there was a plan to nationally boycott the Multinational Dimmy companies. Emails were flying around requesting that on one scheduled day, nobody would buy them, but it never came to fruition. It was just impossible to organise, given its such an in demand commodity. What we need is the govt to cut the excise on dim sims

That's what my mate & I did last year, foolishly without trying Snowboarding. I'm good at skiing and assumed it was the same. Took a bit of practise, but i love it now... he sold his about two days after we got back. Perhaps try before you buy. Some rental places actually give u the option of renting new equipment then buying it when you're finished, less what you paid to rent it. Shop around anyway

bunny.... pfft.... The melbourne snowboard centre on plenty rd in preston is probably your best bet. That being said, it was actually a few (literally) dollars cheaper to hire it on the mountain (strangely enough) which is handy if you get the wrong size boots, etc as you can swap them over there and then.

Interesting comment, I've actually found most of my chick friends to be crazier drivers (no offence to you gals - just in my experience) - and on average, racked up more speeding fines and been in more accidents than my mates. *Disclaimer* Not bagging female drivers, nor am I making a generalisation

Boy, does my heart go our all those poor uni students who have to go to class on monday, you'd think 8 months off a year is enough??? It does always throw me though, they get soooo much time off, why not thrown in the public holidays? (yeah i know they often fall on different dates in different states, but just take them all off!)

I copped a lot of shit for buying an NA R33 (on my P's mind you), but not only had I only driven a manual a handful of times when i got it, but i hadn't driven an rwd car let alone a turbo and didn't like the idea of putting myself into a tree. I have the same problem with my best mate who is, i would say a very good driver, but it counts for nothing when you don't know what others on the road might (read: can) do. Be smart and be safe people!

I'm of the opinion that if they were stupid enough to traffic drugs anywhere near asia/bali then they deserve what they got, but it pisses me off to no end that almost all of the Bali bombers got much lighter sentences. <_<
