Last check they mentioned early showers, so fingers crossed!

I got genuine belt done for under $200 (including belt)
at racing project in Mitcham, (Nelson).
98740066
quick and reliable
Hey Ben
I called that place, they said it was $350 or less if i provide the belt?? Bit strange.

Why pay performance shop prices to do basic servicing?
those prices are outragious. rb25's are pretty simple to work on
don't go to ice, just take it to any mechanic.
I was just throwing the customary "Go to Ice" comment that always seems to pop up.
When I spoke to them, they quoted me the same as JSV and another place in Mitcham.
Shop around a bit, like they said, its not the most complex engine to work on.
-
apparently the belt is the cheapest part...with labor at like $400-$450 from what ive heard
$400-450 + the belt is a rip off. Most places will do it for $350 including a genuine Nissan belt.
Give Ice Performance a call (just thought I'd beat everyone to saying that! )

Did the sparky check the alternator?

I'd been in government for 4 years, so if anyone needed their photocopier jammed, newspaper read or internet surfed... i'm more than willing to pitch in! B)
Now I'm at a place that does office design & furniture fitout, but they charge like raging bulls for everything, so not sure if that helps.

I live on an enclosed COURT that's just over 100m long it's a 40 zone because it's bounded by a school. if you did anything more than 40 on my street then you'd be asking for trouble in the first place.
how the hell can they enforce the speed limit on a 100m long court anyway? will a cop sit up the end with a radar gun?
Ssshhhhh........... don't give them any ideas!!!!!!!!!
If you saw the street i was talking about, you wouldn't be suprised. <_<

Do I smell an election?
Looking for ways to make us happy/buy some votes!
I was stunned one day to find the main road from my place had the speed changed from 40 to 60!!!! Now its just 40 in school times (fair enough)
It was almost impossible to do 40 along that road, and there were speed cameras there nabbing every second driver a few times a week. Pure revenue raising.
Maybe now they'll listen, now that its in their interest!

Hey mate
I'll take them. Where abouts are you located??
Cheers
Chris

BTW: For mine, it's the Maserati 3400GT - in any of it's guises.
That quad-exhaust V8 just sounds so sweet - even under mild acceleration.
As for buying one... I'm sure I could think of many other ways to part with 250 gorillas.
They can continue to overtake me and sound nice doing so.
Can you drive it on your P's???

Want to remove the GTS25T sticker on the back of the car (on the boot lid), however I know it's going to leave a mark on the car as the sticker has probably been on it since it was born.
Just wondering if anyone can recommend a good cleaning product that would remove the marks from off the paint, without damaging the paint work at all?
I'm a big fan of eucalyptus oil - gets stickers off the car sooo easy and leaves no residue!
Just dab a bit of it onto a cloth, press it into the sticker, in particular around one corner. If that corner comes up (with some gentle picking) peel it back slowly while wiping under the sticker with the cloth.
I'd think that over the past 15 or so years the paint may have faded a bit underneath.

hehe...yeah, i was hoping i could hit 200km/h and generate 2gigawatts of power and head back to 1982 for abit...
Great Scott! You could run into your younger, slower self!
Hmm... 2gigawatts.... might be worth having a chat to Leewah, he's almost there!

So........ if after 14 days the buyer hasn't shown you a roadworthy certificate, exactly how do you plan on getting the plates back?

1 x Pair of Shoes - Running Style

i got 2x 12' subs in a bandpassbox hooked up in the boot of my line last week the box is pretty heavy and it moves around when the car moves, also i had to put the amp sideways behind the subs because theres not enough space.
Any pros out there can tell me will there be any negative effects for putting the amp sideways with carboard around it? and any quick ways of locking the sub box in the place i wanted
your help will be appreciated
If you're willing to part with all of about $3, head to bunnings or a hardware store, grab 2 (or 4 if you centre the box) small L brackets and screw them to the floor plate. _l l_ (like so) drop the box between then and its going nowhere, while still easy to get out. leave the velcro on, can't hurt.

Should Barry Hall be allowed to play?
I don't particularly care, it was pretty soft and people have gotten off for much worse, but others have missed a grand final for similar stuff.
I just think he's an idiot, as if you wouldn't be on your best behavour when its your only chance to play in a gf.
Ah well, my money is on the swans...

BWAHAHAHAHA.... that's one of the funniest things i've seen on here for a while!!!

Its still on it will just be on in late November now so we'll remind everyone again once we have everything confirmed.
Early November may be a safer option, given all the Christmas parties at that time of year. (venue availability & attendance)

well my mate wrote off his 33 while on his P's (honestly not his fault, but the other guy kept driving after causing the accident), the police confirmed his story and Just Cars paid him out in full, althought they could have easily d!cked him.
I was 20 when i bought my 33 and decided to go with 3rd Party. Figured after 2 or 3 years, the money i spent on insurance would be about the same as it'd cost me to get any damage repaired.
After 12 months, the premium came down a bit, I'd done a few mods and decided instead of paying $700 for 3rd party, for a few hundred more, I may as well just go full comp. Makes me sleep a little easier 'knowing' that i'll be left with more than my d!ck in my hands if the car gets smashed/stolen.

Hey mate
Well done on the purchase, enjoy it!
Just a few answers for you.
Yes, that's an M-Spec Kit, probably came from the factory that way.
They look like lowered king springs to me. Ride height still seems fine/legal.
Gear knob, mine was the same, no H pattern. You can get dicked for it. Either buy a new one, or buy/print a little sticker with a H pattern on it and stick it near the gear surround.
The HICAS light will only come on when it fails, but you should be able to see it when you start the car. Not sure if the GTS4 has HICAS.
Hope that helps, I'm sure someone else will be able to help you with the other questions.

Chicks love teh Golgo.
If I still own him - I'll be happy to do it.
Probably not as much as they love the Lada tho! B)

Thanks only the cleanest for my car
Actually no lawn, typical wog garden: concrete(Yet to be stenciled), mulch, stones, with 2 feature fountains. Blame my folks, it's their house .
Just a wild guess al, but is it green concrete? tradition, you know!
Love your work anyway mate, car looks mint! B)
