  1. actually its not a bad idea, p platers in there first year can of had very little road experience, vs a p-plater who's had there license for several years. i think its a good idea to identify 1st year p-platers

You can identify dangerous/ inexperienced drivers till the cows come home, won't make them safer or lower the road toll, just mix the colour up when they show the wrecks on the news.

I think driver training is the only real solution, and they don't seem to give a stuff about even considering it.

Change their attitude, not the colour of a little plate that half of them don't even display

  2. I'm quite annoyed (was *really* looking forward to it gdamnit) but 46n2's aunt decided to get freakin married on the same night.. doesn't she know the SAU dinner is on!! So I guess we're out & revoke previous statement that we will attend :<

Maybe we will be able to skip out at some point later in the evening and track down where you all are... but I think thats the best we can do :~(

Hopefully they'll split up & call it off?! hehe.. one can only hope :D

Easy, just tell them to have the reception there! That'll help the numbers problem!

    Everyone kicks a goal :D

  3. I saw that on the news last night as well with the Fuel Pump scotch dispenser. That was a wholesale show at the Exhibition Centre I think. Were they not up and coming products to reach stores in time for Christmas though?

Yeah I got one of the Fuel Bowzers for my 21st in March, great present, great incentive to drink up before it very slowly evaporates :)

  4. ahahahaha i had to drive home with my pants undone :P

the russian guy kept saying "dont stop for a break.... or u wont be able to eat anymore... and when u cant eat any more... have a break for 10 minutes and start again... u'll be right" :)

Careful, that place isn't for Greenhorns! :P

mmm.... is it bad that I really want a steak at 8:45am??? :aroused:

  5. Could your arm be twisted to go if weather is good???

Arm is quite twistable, but the weather this weekend is looking quite crap. That being said, I'm sure every man & his dog will take the opportunity to head down this weekend.

I'll have a chat to a few mates and see when they're interesting in making the pilgrimage.

The Golden Chain motel in Port Campbell even has spa rooms - perfect for a 'wink wink' weekend away

oh & i'll be sure to take the disinfectant :Pimp2:

  6. hey guys i got a mongoose alarm, pretty good, it chirps but u can arm it without cjirping by using the second button on the remote. there are two buttons, one for chirping and the other for silent arming!!!! so u get the best of both worlds LOL.

Mine does exactly that. Love it. Very handy. Only problem. Once the engine is off and the doors/boot are closed, I have about 4-5 seconds to arm it before it chirps 3 times. Annoying when you're trying to sneak home. :chairshot

Took me a while to work this function out, thought I was just going crazy, but when i walk to the car, once I disarm the alarm, if I don't open the door within about 30seconds-1min, it rearms itself. Pain in the arse sometimes, but i guess its in case you knock the disarm button walking away.

hmm  anyone else's do that?

  7. Engineers are $500, you'll probably need to replace your parcel shelf if it has sections missing, ie bits have been cut out to make room for the speakers.

My car came with the most poxy "custom built" parcel shelf made of two pieces of chip board sitting on each other. I've built a schmik replacement that's as tight as a nun's ****, could I get dicked for that?

  8. Get it, there will most probably never be another like it, ever!

    Such a shame

James, I don't know if its worth $800, the real question should be, will you pay $800???

I say got for it, keep the tradition alive! :(

  9. 1993 Nissan Skyline R33 GTS25 Type M

    Hey guys

I’ve finally come to the decision to sell my R33 non turbo. It’s killing me to do it, as it’s my first car, and I’ve really enjoyed getting it just the way I like, but alas its time to move on.

This has been a great car for me and runs really well. I have had no hassles whatsoever with the Police and it was ideal car for a P plater, given the strict Power : Weight rules for Victoria. A GTS is a great compromise, all the great features of a Skyline, without the hassles, especially with all the bad press that skylines/imports are getting at the moment.

It is in immaculate condition, inside & out. It is usually only driven on weekends and otherwise garaged. I can genuinely say it has never been boosted :(

While open to reasonable offers, the asking price is (PRICE DROP) $15,500.

    Features:

    • RB25DE engine

    • 5 speed manual

    • 123,000 genuine kms

    • Power steering,

    • Electric windows & mirrors
