  1. thanks for the feedback guys.. Shouldn't have to get it engineered just for the FMIC though right? Just make it look clean etc.
  2. no. Mine is S1 unfortunately. I'm going to have to look into this more..maybe get something a bit smaller than 600x300x76.
  3. Thanks Chris..want to make sure it's still legal! Scott, yours looks great. I wonder if I could do something like that without trimming the front bar reinforcement...my 4 door is same colour etc. I just had a look at my car and I reckon unless you used about a 50mm core you would not be able to get it in there without trimming the reo bar...
  4. Gary - can you have a look in here: http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/in...howtopic=157124 I'm fitting these at the moment - did you fit yours yourself and did you have to cut sections off them?
  5. Hi there, just wondering whether I have to cut parts off my control arm to fit the new bushes in. Anyone fitted these? I'm looking at Gary's pic he posted and it appears this material is removed... Thanks.
  6. thanks Lads. Nice pics Kennedy!! I like the look of it. Mine is non M type also..did you do it yourself?
  7. Can you leave your bar looking completely stock from the outside if you cut a bit of the reinforcement bar? Is it ok with the RTA etc to cut some of this bar? Anybody got pics of a Justjap install that looks sleeperish? Thanks
  8. Race Bred...from the outside it doesn't look like youve moded you bar at all? Did you just mode it on the inside so from outside it looks stock... Cheers
  9. thanks - I'll check it out. Any comments regarding the Serries 1 bar. Can you just trim the reo but leave all the plastic so it looks factory at the front? Anybody done this. Cheers
  10. Thinking of buying one of these. I see that you have to cut the reinforcement bar. On a series 1 R33 with a stock bar can you just mount it behind there without any visual trimming of the plastic on the front bar. I realise the air flow might not be the best but should still be better than the smaller SMIC's. It would be good if it came with black silicon joiners..I'm thinking of spraying the whole kit black so it isn't visible. So the consensus is that these kits are quite good?
  11. Cubes. I'm interested to see what type of FMIC you used. All the links or pics are gone. Do you have any specs or pics you could post? Sounds like you have quite a good setup that doesn't require too much moding of the bar and supports etc.. Thanks
  12. Ive has a look on silviansw and it seems the oz spec manual ones are 480cc yet auto is 370cc...
  13. Thanks Grigor - but some of what Ive read and what others are selling is aus spec maroon coloured injectors that are 480cc. Is this BS?
  14. So many rumours.. It seems the oz spec ones are 480cc as well as JDM. As long as you get the maroon coloured ones are they sure to be 480cc? Thanks
  15. Thanks fellas.. so a few psi is ok... might upgrade the hose and clamps..probably not a bad idea on an old car anyway. One thing I still can't find is the pressure rating of fuel filters. Anyone know the max psi of Ryco or cooper fuel filters. Also, what is the max psi a GTR pump can deliver - is it around 73psi?
  16. I did - they didn't know and said they'd have to measure one. I've already called them a few times.. Thought someone here would know straight up. I have one here that I'm trying to determine if it is a 400hp or 450hp. Thanks URAS - great help mate hahah
  17. What diameter is the tubbine wheel on the R33 turbo? Anyone measured their 450hp turbo? Also what is the compressor wheel diameter. Cheers
  18. Just looking at getting a little more out of my injectors to support around 225rwkw.. I realise a Nismo FPR is a pretty easy way to get a little more. You raise the base Fuel pressure from 36psi upwards. I guess the fuel lines are getting old but all EFI hosing should be rated to SAE 30R9 which I think is rated to 125psi with a burst pressure of 900psi. Is this correct? So currently I have 36psi base pressure (Is that right) plus allowing for boost increase (10psi currently) Max fuel rail and line pressure = 46psi So if I raise the base fuel pressure 10psi and run 15psi boost I'm looking at 36 + 10 + 15 = 61 psi Do other people run this kind of pressure without upgrading there fuel lines etc? I'll check the condition etc and the clamps.. Does anybody know what the fuel filters are rated to - Ryco don't state this. Thanks
  19. Do the Nismo FPR come set at the base 36psi? Or do you undo the adjustment screw? I.e. could you install it and not affect the current AF ratios? And then I guess the tuner would adjust it if he thinks he needs to get more out of the injectors?
  20. I'll be interested to see your progress. I'm in a similar situation to you..sounds like 220-230rwkw is about the most you can go on stock injectors and stock AFM.. I think I will keep it below this to save on a few things. Maybe just get a bigger fuel pump and Nismo FPR the stock internals should be good for about 260+rwkw though
  21. Thanks fellas. Can you get to the brushes easy enough? It would be good to be able to check these if getting a second hand pump. In an alternator it's usually pretty easy to get to these..
  22. Thanks Paul. Does it have written on the GTR pump 195L/min? How can I be sure I'm getting a GTR pump - is it physically bigger than the GTST one. *Are RB20 and RB25 pumps the same) Cheers
  23. Do most people just mount the GTR pump to the GTST cradle (modify slightly) or do they get the cradle from the GTR and use that? I have heard reports of noisy pumps so I want to make sure I mount it correctly..just wondering if I need to buy it with the cradle.. Thanks
  24. that boost98 is pretty good (at united servos) Can make it run a little leaner though...
