18" Wheels With Tyres - Good Condition
benl1981 replied to benl1981's topic in For Sale (Private Car Parts and Accessories)
Will take $800 for them. -
Set of 6 x S15 Injectors (Side Feed) These flow between 450 - 480 cc/min depending on rail pressure. Perfect upgrade for R33 Rb25det. Complete with 12 new GENUINE gaskets - 6 new upper and 6 lower gaskets (seperately supplied i.e. old gaskets are still on the injectors) - 10 new gaskets shown but I have the full 12. These drop straight into the stock fuel rail so look and perform completely stock but with higher flow. Some of the pintle caps (at tip of injector) have broken fingers. You can source new ones for about $1-$2/each. Although most mechanics will tell you it isn't an issue to run as is. There are some scratches on some of the injectors where they have been removed from rail that are cosmetic only (you can see that in the pictures - once in the rail these can't be seen) Should be able to run around 280rwkw and more if you increase rail pressure. Price $425 including the 12 new seals. Northern beaches Sydney - or can post for about another $10-$15 PM if interested

Set of 4 x 18 inch wheels and tyres for sale - which look good on all skylines. The wheels fit well on an R33. Small amount of gaurd rolling to fit the width of the rear wheels/tyres (cost $50 at a tyre shop). The wheels are Advanti Racing. Wheels and tyres are in good condition. One has some gutter rash but nothing major. Front tyres are 235/40 - 18 inch (around 60%) Rear tyres are 265/35 - 18 inch (around 75-80%) Looking for $850 or close to that. Located in Northern Beaches - Sydney. Pickup only.

thanks for that. Back up on some of the other threads it talks of a permanent 12v to pin 58. My r33 has 12v to that when ign is on but as soon as you switch the ign off this voltage drops but fairly slowly. Drops to 4v then drops about .1v every few seconds. Maybe the alarm is connected in with this 12v feed? I would think this is the reason my ecu shuts down earlier as it would need the constant 12v to allow the eccs to shutdown the computer. Thinking of running a permanent 12v line from maybe the clock over to the ecu so that pin 58 does in fact have a constant 12v. Unless there would be a closer constant 12v feed than to the clock. I don't want to wreck the harness though. Would I be best tracing pin 58 wire back slightly and splice this wire I run in at that point? Does the above make sense to anyone. It is strange my pin 58 doesn't keep 12v ..

So the blue relay next to the ecu in s2 r33 is the eccs relay?
-
thanks duncan. There is a blue relay next to the ecu. I thought that was the eccs location in r33 rb25? not quite sure why mine is cutting out before the 1 sec as it all seems stock. There is a turbo timer also but wouldn't think that would do it. Cheers

I know this is an old thread but can you actually hear this slight delay (on shutdown) in the ECCS relay enegizing - can someone confirm this on an R33 rb25det? I.e. so you should hear the engine shut down when you turn the key - then about a 1 sec pause before you hear the relay kick in? Is the ECU programmed to delay 1second before triggering that relay, is that how it works? Why does the stock computer require that delay? is it for writing fault codes? As I understand the PFC requires it for tune writing. Thanks
-
can you usually hear a delayed click from the eccs relay 1 sec after shutting the car off? I can hear a click but doesn't appear to be delayed from when the engine stops.
-
thanks mate. Yes standard wiring. It does have an alarm immobiliser but would think that should be on the ignition and not on eccs. Plus that shouldn't immobilise straight away after shut off.
-
Hi there, Can someone with this setup please have a look at their hand controller when they shut down the car. Does it continue to show the display/stay powered up for about 1 sec after key is turned off or does it immediately power down? I have a stock r33 but trying to figure out why powerfc won't hold data. I have a mongoose alarm but otherwise stock. Some say it may be to do with th eccs relay

When is the next one planned?

Don't go the copy. If you look hard enough you can get a new genuine one delivered for under $300. Much better option. Even second hand genuine would be better. The copy will cost more in tuning and if it goes bung you will need to retune, The genuine items are closely controlled in terms of airflow vs voltage. I doubt the copies are.

Will you be doing some more of these in the next few months? shame I cant make it This looks like a fun event! Hope it goes well.

Thanks Nathan. I didn't get a chance to look at your setup unfortunately. The nice turbo setup must have blinded me It seems like the innovative may be best if wanting to use it for narrowband signal emulation aswell. It would be a benfit in having just the one sensor and being able to output Narrowband and wideband signal. I'm not sure the AEM can do this properly. Can anybody with an AEM shed some light on how they have gone using the one sensor for both narrowband and wideband output? Apparently on the AEM there is a function P04 that can simulate a narrowband. But by switching the gauge/output to that does it mean that the gauge will also show differently or if you running an output to the FC datalogit that the output will then be the 0-1v rather than the standard 0-5v. (i.e. does it not have the 2 channel the innovative does?) The P04 output seems to show a output of around the 0.5v at 14.7 with the voltage fluctuating up or down from there depending on the movment from stoich. From what others seem to say it isn't a true narrowband signal but sounds like it should work.. The Innovtive seems like you may be able to set the switch point?

After looking a bit into Wideband kits the AEM type seem pretty good. The best price I can find is about $200US delivered for one that has digital display etc. I plan on having it go into the datalogit so Im not to sure I need the gauge but some say it may be more accurate so probably good to have. Few questions 1. Does this price seem about right and the kit that most are using. 2. How long do you usually get out of the sensors if not running things overly rich. 3. I would still like to run the narrowband also (for fuel economy on cruise). Do most of you weld another bung in pretty close to the narrowband on your dump pipe? It doesn't have to be a specific distance away from the other sensor does it? 4. Anyone got pics of their setups in relation to dump pipes etc. 5. Where do you usually bring the wires through? Do you feed them through near where the wires come through to the ECU. 6. In the short term I may take out the narrowband and use the wideband for tuning. Is the thread the same on the wideband as the narrow? Thanks all. Here is the one I'm considering. http://www.ebay.com/itm/AEM-Wideband-O2-Air-Fuel-UEGO-Gauge-DIGITAL-AFR-6-in-1-/200668628885?pt=Motors_Car_Truck_Parts_Accessories&vxp=mtr&hash=item2eb8c84795

so if the haltec was wired in with the stock computer to control the auto and you convert the car to a manual could you just disconnect the stock computer and leave the haltec? I.e. The way they wire the haltecs up as a piggyback are they in full control over the fuel and ignition

There are some 3/4 length drop in direct fit injectors that only require connector changes. There was some reference on the forums somewhere. From memory about $450 + connectors. If you can't find let me know and I will search. I think they are bosch or similar. The XR6Turbos are full length but you can get them in the 3/4 length top feed also from what I have read
