  1. If you want to just run stock boost would just fitting the pressure relief valve and adjusting properly get better boost respionse safely? I guess you need to espel the pressure build up somehow
  2. Anyone know how much these are for the H1 globes? My car has ones that are a bit yellow. Pulled it out and on the back it said PIAA Plasma Ion 55W. I think they are expensive, anybody know where to get cheapish yellowy tinge ones? I only wanted to get 1. Thanks
  3. no probs with it. I did it 3 months ago. with 3" dump/front pipe the boost has come on lower again. In the higher gears full boost is from about 2000rpm, wheareas before 2500rpm. in 1st and 2nd before 3000rpm. WIth standard dump it was about 3.5k. Batmbl sells them on forums for 250...

  8. I thought this cooler is a bit taller..will the existng plastic scoop be ok? What about the wheel arch do you think rocks could get thown up if I don't put it in
  9. Do you guys run the guard in front and the wheel arch plastic bit behind the cooler? My car came with none. I dont really care at the moment becasue it is the standard cooler. But with the R34 my carefactor might be up slightly.

  11. Wow! that sounds good. Do you have a SAFC to get 190rwkw or did you just turn the boost up? I guess you have full 3" exhaust.. Pretty impressive!

  13. wats the pressure drop liike over the R34 cooler compared to the R33 cooler? Anyone checked this? thanks
  14. Razor - how did you go with this? Did you notice the difference with the swap to the R34 cooler/?
  15. What size pipes do you use to minimise turbo lag? Will you always get a bit more lag over the standard cooler? I saw a thread where sydney kid was giving sizes etc , but do most people find increased lag? Thanks

  19. my car only has cat back and running the 7psi sloenoid open all the time. But yeah I reckon the extra power and torque once they are underway can be seen. Off the line I just let out the clutch and floored it but to be a chance I would have had to drop it a bit. We were both equal to about 20km/h then he started to pull a bit probably about a car length to 100kays I reckon. I have a dump pipe ready to go on, hopefully that will help but yeah the v8s have a bit of power these days. Maybe I should get over it. ...
  20. I saw in a motor mag today the Typhoon is only 6.4 sec to the 100km/h. I thought a standard R33 should do low 6s. So off the lights or drag on the 1/4 mile the skyline should hold it? I got done by a newish V8 commo ute on a private rd. I just let out the clutch and floored it.The V8 looked a little hot, Maybe just an SS though, manual. The ute was pulling quite hard. With the turbos you have to get the revs up off the line a bit right? Looked like he didn't really get an awesome start either. You could see the V8 had more power. Though maybe if got a good start could have stayed with him.
  21. Will I don't have Front mount so not that I thought it might be the aftermarket castor rod bushes but It does it even if you are oinly just moving.
  22. Ok silly question. Has anybody got a squeek from the front somewhere they can hear when cruising along with the windows up and radio turned down. I reach around and play around with things underneath as I thought it might be something slightly loose. I dont think it is shocks or bushes as I cant here it with window down. And you can hear the noise if you turn the wheel and the power steer idle up cause the revs to jump a bit i.e causing a little vibration which trigggers the squeek/rattle. Its hard to find as it is only really when you cruise around and seems like from drivers side. Thanks
  23. Everybody agree with this? I thought the 2.5" pipe should flow enough from the cat back. It hasn't got a canon at the moment it has a kakimoto muffler though..fairly quiet
